What settings do I use on the unit?

Hi Lily, I just moved, so mine is still in storage, & can't be looked at right now. The instruction manual is self explanatory. I do remember that setting the humidity target percentage at lower than 40% makes the unit work harder as it can experience coil freeze-up, (a temporary condition quickly remedied by shut-off when used in above-freezing conditions.) Mine always worked without freeze-up when set at 40% humidity. Hope that shed some light. Mark

I usually set the fan on low and adjust the Humidistat until it feels comfortable.

I use the low fan setting, and set the humidity percentage level at 35%. Also, be sure to clean the air filter weekly or bi-weekly, as a dusty filter will cause the unit to run hotter & less efficiently. Hope this helps!
