Need advice? More information?

can this be wired to your existing house circuity and does it has its own thermostat?
- Anonymous on 11-13-2014
this heater is 277 volts which is again industrial power and will not work on residential power
- Brooks J. on 11-21-2014
each 240 volt heater usually has its own circuit and thermostat or at least 1 thermostat per room and sometimes more heaters. Usually the power is run from the panel to the thermostat and then to the heaters. These require a 240 volt electric only thermostat which are avialable on line and at all home centers and hardware stores. Honeywell makes a nice one for about $20. i think it is a model 410B. a standard house thmostat from a forced air or boiler system is low voltage typically 24 volts and will not work.
- Brooks J. on 11-21-2014
This is a hard wire unit; it???s not the standard voltage. This unit is 277V and you would need to buy a thermostat separately.
