It doesn’t get much better (or easier) than chicken breast, unless of course you cook with sous vide! This particular recipe combines the classic flavors of white wine cream with the succulent taste of a juicy chicken breast – a delight for the taste buds. The dish doesn’t take too long to prepare, and it offers a highly nutritious, protein-packed plate for any palate.

We highly recommend using the Avalon Bay Sous Vide Circulator or the Avalon Bay Sous Vide Water Oven to ensure that the chicken is cooked perfectly.

Ingredients:

  • Two medium-sized chicken breasts (approximately 1.5 lbs)
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • White Wine Cream Sauce

Preparation:

  1. Apply salt and pepper to the chicken breast
  2. Let rest at room temp for 30 minutes
  3. While the chicken breasts are resting, set your sous vide station up and set the sous vide to 165°F
  4. Place your chicken breasts into their storage bags and remove as much air as possible
  5. Place the chicken breasts into your sous vide container for 1 hour
  6. Take the chicken breast out of the liquid and let rest, still in the plastic storage bags
  7. Turn a skillet on high heat with some oil in the pan
  8. Sear the chicken breast off so that they have a beautiful brown sear on them. Approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute
  9. Serve with white wine cream sauce
