The Winix WDH871 70 pint dehumidifier is designed to help remove excess moisture effectively and efficiently from the air inside your home. Water can be removed from the bucket using the built-in pump, the quick-connect no-leak gravity hose attachment or manually. The WDH871 dehumidifier also features an auto mode that sets the unit at a comfortable humidity setting and adjusts the fan speed automatically to optimize humidity reduction and energy efficiency.

Winix Dehumifier - purchased June 2011 Just installed the unit yesterday and in less than 5 or 6 hours the bucket was full of mositure! Installation is simple, the pump operates only when bucket is full. It quickly reduced humidity in our 1200 SF basement. Looking to see how it does the rest of this week. Very pleased so far. So far so good I've been using the product in our unfinished basement for 1 1/2 weeks so far and it is working fine. I've been emptying the bucket twice a day. Soon I will hook up the gravity feed connection to a waterhose and drain the water to our basement floor drain. I just used the default automatic setting - so the only thing required is to take the unit out of the box, remove the packaging materials, plug it in and press the on button. March 24, 2012
TTHIS PRODUCT HAS GREAT FEATURES wE PUT IT IN THE BASEMENT AND CONNECTED THE 1/4 INCH DRAIN HOSE TO OUR SUMP PUMP LINE. WE NEVER HAVE TO EMPTY THE BUCKET AGAIN. IT HAS KEPT OUR BASEMENT VERY DRY. March 21, 2012
