Avanti WD361 Water Dispenser with Push Button Faucets

Because I live in the desert, I really need to be aware of my water consumption. I was over at a friend's house who has a water dispenser, and I loved how readily available it was and how I drank more water without thinking about it. So, after a research of dispensers online and at different stores, this model seemed to have a lot of solid reviews and a very decent price. I've had it a couple of days now, and I have to say the hot water temp is perfect for a cup of tea or any other "very hot-but not boiling" water use you may need. The cold water is nice and refreshing but not icy cold. That actually appeals to me. I think it is stylish and very attractive in my kitchen, and doesn't have those cheap looking nozzle handles. Yes the unit is a little too short for me and most others, but my dad does carpentry and can help me create a super sturdy simple base that will add about a foot of height to it. This was a small price to pay for the ease and economy of this unit. Also, air-n-water has been fantastic to deal with, very reasonable shipping prices and talk about fast shipping. Amazing!!! Because of this experience, I just bought the Greenway GWF8 Water Dispenser Filtration System here to eliminate lifting the big bottles. It was a little more expensive to shop here, but customer service is king to me. I?ll update my review once I get the filter system to confirm they are compatible.

I got this model this week. however, the hot water come out as room temperature. I need this fixed. Not sure how the maintenance work so far.

I have previously leased a water cooler from a major water provider; spending about $2,500.00, for the cooler, over the last 17 years. I decided to cut expenses and purchase a unit from Air & Water, and am very happy that I did!

I purchased this product b/c my old "HDUO" water cooler stopped working. ---- Though this water cooler didn't have the 'dog/pet water bowl' feature, like the HDUO, it was a great choice for me. (I just put a raised bowl of pure water from the new Avanti in front of the unit for my dog, and she's adjusted to it immediately.) The quiet operation of the unit is nice. The only complaint I have, (and it really isn't a complaint), is that you have to turn off, and unplug the unit everytime you put a new bottle of water on. Then the instructions ask you to pour out a minimum of 4 glasses of the hot water side, to make sure the heating feature functions properly, EACH time, before you power up/on the cooler again. Basically then, you have 4 cups of the precious water out, that's at room temp, if you want to drink it. Throwing it out, is wasteful for me as I fill up my own water bottles at my local grocer's. Also, when you tip your new bottle of water upside down on top of the unit, there's no cap on your water bottle, and the wide 'open' area you tip it onto makes for a bit of a nervous moment, as the water starts to pour out immediately as you are tipping it down onto this large opening. (Past water coolers required a cap that you had to use on the bottle that had a 'float' ball to it. Therefore when you began tipping the new bottle onto your unit, it only dripped a bit as it went on. With the Avanti, you just have to be careful, go quickly, and hope you don't spill water out and all over, as you're tipping it onto the unit. Otherwise, I really love the smallness of the unit's size. Fits just great into my new condo's kitchen area. Thank you AVANTI, for a nice cooler!!

I've been paying $7.50 a month for a cooler that really wasn't keeping my water cold and really wasn't heating well enough. This cooler keeps the water temperature just perfect for me. It's a little short for dispensing, but my kids love it a lot

I am disappointed in the short stature - in spite of symbolic leg extenders provided. Also disappointed in the height of the fill space. Otherwise it cools and heats well. I also thought it was advertised as Energy Star efficient, but find no references to such on the equipment or in the manual.

We were going to settle for a water dispenser with just cold water at this price range, however when we got on your web site we found we could get both hot and cold. The unit came promptly to the front door and was very simple to set up within the hour we had hot and cold water. I was concerned the unit might be too short and not hold the 5 gallon jug well but that was not the case at all it has made a good addition to our kitchen. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice easy home dispenser.

After placing this order, I went back and reviewed the specs and thought that at 33" tall It might be too short but the height is perfect. My only con with the cooler is that the cold water could be a little colder. Taking a ice tray and filling it with the bottled water and adding the frozen ice to the water does the trick.

Kudos on selective options and availabilty. The expeditious processing time and delivery of Air & Water was well worth its weight in gold. It serves its purpose for a group of about 25 members at our meeting service each week. Nothing is more refreshing and pure as the fresh water in which we drink and we are grateful to trust in a company that specializes in a perfectly made product to do just that with. Purchased this water dispenser to replace our GE unit that started leaking after 10 years. Unfortunately it was not what I had expected. First of all the cooler unit is too short. It makes it easier to load water on top, but it is a pain to have to bend over to get water every time. Also it doesn't use those pop open caps. You have to remove the cap and pour the water bottle over onto the unit and hope you don't spill water everywhere. Finally the cold water was not that cold. Our old unit would give water cold enough to cause condensation on the glass unlike this unit however I did like the amount of water flow from the spouts. It made filling water bottles much quicker. The Hot water worked well and there was no funny taste in the water. Needless to say, the unit was returned back to air&water, and we picked up another GE unit...

We drink a lot of water daily, it is perfect and will pay for the expense of buying the cooler dispenser very soon. Thank you we did a lot of research of units and this one was the most highly rated, and we add our vote to that!

It was easy to set up and worked right away without any unpleasant tastes or smells.

Very good product, just what I needed. I spend half the time filling water jugs. The unit could be taller and could have a little more room between the spout and the back wall. Overall, I'm very happy with this product.

My younger siblings and I decided several years ago to purchase practical gifts for my parents for Christmas. So the first year, we bought a water cooler dispenser and a year's supply of bottled water. On Dec. 20, 2010, my mom called and said her water cooler dispenser had died. In the hustle and bustle of the season, none of us really had time to shop locally so I turned to the computer. After working a 12 hour day, I was in no mood for a hastle. I googled water cooler dispensers, visited several sites, did some comparison shopping and BINGO decided on Air & Water, Inc. Several sites offered the SAME product but all were more expensive. The ordering process was a breeze and before I knew it I was done. On top of that, I completed an online survey and received ANOTHER $5 off. The very next morning I received a phone call from Air & Water comfirming the delivery address since it was different from the billing address. The rep was very pleasant and professional. The dispenser arrived in record time and my parents LOVE their new water cooler dispenser. My mom specifically commented that the HOT water is indeed HOT and she no longer has to use the stove. My sister is thinking of ordering one now.

I like the size for a small reception area, and the fact we have hot/and cold dispenser with a water filtration system. The 3 gallon water jug is easier to handle and easier on the back.

I purchased the water cooler for a family with limited space and consumes lots of water. The cooler fit perfectly in the small space available and now they can purchase water by the water and drink anythime, hot or cool to their choosing. It couldn't have been a better choice and the price was great. Very sorry the review took so long, but I don't read mail very often.

Overall a very good product. I liked the fact that it was already sanitized and ready to use out of the box. This product is used as our main source of drinking water. It is great that there are shut off switches in the back of the unit to use when we are out of water. The base could be a little taller.

We use this cooler instead of drinking our well water. We have had several other brands and really like the design of this one. This is a really nice cooler for the money.

The cooler is quiet and flows quickly. It is also slimmer consequently it takes up less space than my old water dispenser.

It is also great to be able to enjoy a cold or hot drink without the hassle of boiling water or adding ice. We are really spoiled now.

I'm very happy with my order. These things are really expensive at stores. This is a very simple, attractive unit. Hot water is hot. Cold water is cold. Not much more to it than that.

I think it's a great value but it has a few issues. I don't use the hot water much but if that is something of importance to you, you should know that the hot water comes out pretty slow. Also, only the right front leg is adjustable so if your floor is uneven, you better have some shims on hand for getting it level. Oh, and the leg extension (for making the unit taller) falls off the adjustable leg so if you move it after you level it, part of the leg will fall off. Overall though for the money, it's not bad.

This was a gift and I was delighted with the looks on the faces of the people I gave it to. They were overjoyed to receive it. They set it up immediately and it is now an integral part of their household. Thank you for allowing me to give a gift that will last for years.

Bought this Avanti to replace the higher end Oasis machine after several years in the kitchen. Item works as described but is not as tall as my previous machine. It is also difficult to see where the spout is so when you fill a water bottle, you have to be careful ...I like the option of turning off the hot water dispenser if I wish as well as the cold if I leave for extended periods of time.

Somewhat disappointed in the product. Good: I like the fact that the water is dispensed very quickly from either the hot or cold option. Bad: It's too short and can't be useful at home -- even if we add the legs to it. You have to bend over so much to get water...it needs to be about a foot taller for home use. Also, some taller water bottles don't fit under the spouts so it's just useful for plastic cups. The majority of the cold water use involves refilling water bottles so it's been somewhat of a disappointment. I carefully reviewed (or thought I did) all the specifications before I purchased it but was surprised at the height and inability to use many water bottles.

I use my cooler at home for drinking water. So far I love it. I have had a couple of cheaper water coolers and they have not lasted long. So I am looking forward to a long relationship with my air & water Avanti cooler.

We have a summer home up north and have well water that taste terrible to drink, so this cooler works just great. We go to the store and buy bottled water and use this for all our drinking needs. Would like a storage compartment under it.

The water cooler is working amazingly. It's quiet, doesn't take up a lot of space, and heats up water in just a few minutes. I like that much better than using the microwave to boil water for tea or soups. Overall, it's an awesome product that is well worth the money. I love having fresh, clean, cool water for the family, including our dogs. Friends and family always comment on our cooler and it gives our kitchen a great, completed, look. I was concerned with ordering this product because other reviews had mentioned the shipping companies damaged the box so badly that sometimes the item was affected. I had send a letter to Air & Water, Inc. with my concern upon placing my order. The next day I received an email informing me that Air & Water, Inc. does their best to package and ship the products so that they are not harmed. They also assured me that if there were any problems or issues with my product the would take care of it. PS the item arrived without any damage and works beautifully. It's quiet and the cold water is cold and the hot water is hot... Satisfied customer here. If I ever need any other products Air & Water, Inc. will be the first place I look... Great product, easy to setup. Just remember to follow the instructions before filling with water. Also, remember to have a decent size receptacle when draining the dispenser during initial startup.
