Purchased the Vornado DVTH space heater to give extra warmth to certain rooms in my home when lowering the thermostat. Had it in a larger bedroom approx 325 sq ft but the unit was not able to warm up the room. Moved it to a TV-
den area and it was terrific in warming the 225 sq ft room. Unit has a blower that is not too loud and it keeps room warm to pre-set temp. Lightweight unit mostly plastic which is easily moved from room to room if needed. This is the 2nd Vornado I have owned-1st one lasted 7 years and I have confidence in these units. Purchase thru Air-N-Water was very

Upon reading the review in Good Housekeeping and the performance rating on this product I purchased it. It does warm my 8x10 living room very well and keeps the furnace quiet. The Vornadao VO-Dvth is very quiet and the controls are easy to use...as well as being light weigth. I'm glad I purchased it.

We bought this because we heat with wood and it has been a cold winter...we just can't quite keep the house warm with just the woodstove. We like this heater a lot...especially the thermostat feature because it can regulate itself. Although the fan is a soft sound, I do find it a bit irritating and when we do not need it, I turn that off so I can enjoy the quiet. But overall, I have appreciated the warmth it provides to a rather large living space.

I have owned 6 Vornado heaters in my life. I had 2 die after about 7 years of using them. They were our only heat source for a couple cold winter months here in new england (ran 24 hrs a day). I have had different space heaters that weren't even close to what these were. I recommend these to anyone that is looking for a good reliable space heater.

We have a sitting area in our bedroom, this is where she watches her tv & makes her phone calls. She uses the heater to keep her feet and the room warmer than the rest of the house. It does a great job, Room size 20' X 24'.

This Vornado Heater is a total work horse, I used one in my RV for 6 winters, it ran 24/7 from fall to spring and kept the unit from freezing in the winter cold. This enabled me to use the RV whenever I chose because I didn't need to take it off the road for the winter. When I sold the RV, I gifted the new owners with the heater and purchased a new one for myself to insure total coziness in my home. It is truly a safe and efficient heater, and does its job quietly.

We keep our home temp set at 68, my wife uses the heater in our bedroom setting areas, she sets the heater at 70 ,it keep the room at 70. The room is 18ft x 22 ft.

As a retired air conditioning & heating Engineer, I was very picky in what I was looking for. This heater has kept my spring plant room at the exact temperature I set it for.
As the room temperature approaches the room set point, first the heat cycles off, then the fan. By cycling the fan and the heat, only the required energy is used to maintain the set point. Very, very efficient.

This is a great product. It has run about 15 hours so far. It heats effectively and, true to its advertising, maintains the same temperature throughout the room. I really appreciate the digital temperature disply. I was initially surprised it was so light weight. In spite of its meager weight, however, it provides a great deal of heat and comfort. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone looking for a primary heat source for a small area, or for a way to add heat to a larger area while at the same time circulating the air for more uniform warmth (this is what we are using if for).

I love it. It's compact and creates a gentle heat instead of a harsh, dry warmth like other heaters I've tried. The fan creates an even temperature throughout the whole room. The Vornado is powerful for its size. And it also can be used as a plain old fan in the summer.
