Description

The Symphony SPM20 portable evaporative cooler is the quick, easy and affordable solution for spot cooling - both indoors or out! Unlike traditional air conditioning systems which utilize harmful, ozone-depleting coolants such as Freon, the SPM20 harnesses the natural cooling power of evaporation. Using only tap water and electricity, this evaporative cooler covers up to 700 square feet and lowers temperatures by as much as 20 degrees in ideal conditions at a fraction of the cost of a standard A/C.

Provides Maximum Cooling
The Symphony SPM20 features an advanced blower wheel design for maximum air velocity and cooling.

Large Coverage Area
This air cooler covers areas up to 700 square feet, making it perfect for living rooms, dens, patios, garages, workshops and so much more.

Ready to Use Out of the Box
No professional installation is required with the Symphony SPM20. Simply fill it with water, plug it in and it's ready to go.

Easy Maintenance
A hose connection lets you maintain a continuous water supply without having to manually refill the unit.

Premium Cooling Pads
The SPM20 uses premium rigid cooling pads which are designed to retain more water for more effective cooling.

Symphony SPM20 Portable Evaporative Cooler 3.8 5 13 13
This product is poorly manufactured. I was excited to get this cooler for a small bunkhouse on the ranch in West Texas. Everything looked normal when I removed it from the box, so I didn't think I would need to keep the box. Several hours later I got around to plugging the unit in and the blower cage was seriously rubbing on the housing making quite a bit of noise. Poor manufacturing. One of the water nozzles was also broken and I am attempting to get replacement parts to fix. I believe this unit will do as advertised, but it will take a bit of work to get it there. I haven't contacted Air-N-Water as of this writing. October 18, 2011
Best 400.00 we every spend My wife and I sell Plants at flea Markets and at trade days.We have to be outside under our tent.We have tried all kind of fans from 25.00 ones to the big 250.00 dollars ones.We saw this cooler on line and bought one.I wish we had found this years ago. This evaporative cooler is buy far the best investment in an out side item we have ever bought. We are surely thinking about getting another one to keep at our house in the garage for when we boil crawfish or crabs and shrimps .We could also use it when we barbeque. It cools the air around us by about 20 degrees.when it 105 and you can get it to 85 thats super.Everybody at the market was around our cooler. Then if you add little block of ice in the water man it cools even more.Great product will tell all of our friends about it August 30, 2011

Great product! Fast Shipment Works great in Oklahoma in the heat, if the humidity is too high it is less effective but works great in hot dry climate. Thanks Air & Water August 19, 2011
Symphony SPM 20 Portable Evaporative Cooler The cooler arrived on time for a party! Thank you! BUT, the cooler was not "squared" so the side panels did not fit well. One panel is almost impossible to remove for cleaning. The fan was hitting the safety hub so hard that it could not turn. We had to remove the safety hub so the fan could turn. It looks as if the axile is bent. It worked for the party, but now when the panel is removed you must be very careful about fingers gettting caught in the fan! aka TURN IT OFF! If we were not having a party, we would have sent the cooler back. It will still help cool the deck in this record breaking heat. August 16, 2011
Not as easy to use as stated in description We ordered this for our multiple meeting rooms so we could wheel it from place to place. The desription said "open box and plug in.. ready to use". this is not the case. We opened it up and the wheels had to be installed with a specific tool, then other parts had to be installed. It took over an hour of set up to get this "ready to use". Once we finished we had to add about 8 pitchers of water to the bottom on the cooler. Very inconvenient. The seal was dripping so we then had to slowly drain the water out. Needless to say it wasn't working for us and we shipped it back (at our expense). Not the best. August 15, 2011
It does what its is supposed to but... I live in the Midwest where the summers are very hot and humid. I was once in Utah in the summer where I remember someone renting a cooler at an event that everyone was crowded around to cool off. That is what prompted me to purchase a cooler versus an AC unit. Once I got my cooler unpacked and setup, which only took about 1/2hr, I liked the immediate cool breeze emitted from the front of the unit. However after running it for the better part of a work day, the only difference I noticed was in the amount of humidity in the air and not an actual temperature drop. If you live in a hot, humid area I suggest something that dehumidifies the air, not a cooler. I sold it later that week. JMO. August 7, 2011
Great Product Instructions a little fuzzy but can be figured out with a little effort. Once installed cooler worked like a champ. We have installed it in a yurt and with these 100+ degree days the Symphony cooler has made the days bearable. Works all day long with no problem. Since we are in a yurt with fabric walls all our outlets are on the floor. As a precaution we added a water shut off valve at the hose connection in case we should have a water overflow. In the last couple of months it has worked fabulously well. August 6, 2011
