the best fan I have ever owned I have owned all sorts of house fans over the years. Most of them were of a very similar design. This fan is by far the sleekest, quietest, and easiest to use. I use the fan for a supplemental to my central air. It's great for the dogs and I turn up the air for most of the day. I'm sure I will see a savings there. The fan is very quiet, but adding the oscillator makes it rattle a bit. Not terribly, but I'd prefer it as quiet as just the fan. July 7, 2010
This fan is perfect for my needs. I wanted a quiet, remote-controlled fan to supplement air-conditioning. The fan is so quiet and efficient that I've been able to turn off the central air during the day and rely on the fan. Our two dogs just love it. One dog would only lay in a spot directly under the central air vent, now, however, she's in her favorite spots all over the living room because the fan effectively circulates cool air.
