while this stat is very good for home owner installation it lacks in some areas. I have found that there is a fixed differential of 1 degree. this is not acceptable to my professional application as i am a contractor in the ac field. I perfer a wider differential to over come constant recycle. I have found that some of the savings frome installing a digital is lost as a result. the stat constantly cycles from heat to cool which is clearly an unecessary expense. in order to overcome this problem I have to keep the stat in manual changeover. I will install a stat that has a wider differntial or at least an adjustable differential.
