I am very satisfied with my Dayton radiator. The only improvement I can suggest would be to provide a heat free handle for moving it around when it is hot.

I've got the space heater on maximum setting. It's literally 6 inches from my leg. My right leg is warm, my left leg is cold. I'm still bundled up in long underwear, a long sleeve shirt, jeans, boots, and a fleece jacket.
I will say there's a window on my left that isn't weather-proof, but its 3 feet away. The space heater isn't putting out enough heat to warm the room by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe if I wrap myself and it under the same blanket...

I use it for a brick studio and simply keeping it on its low setting which helps to keep the room comfortable at 70 degrees when it is in the 50's outside. So far I have not noticed a difference with the electric bill.

After researching the best space heater on the market, decided on the Dayton oil filled model. Wanting to take the chill Fall air away without starting the central heating, this heater does the job. Virtually silent operation except for some clicks when heater is warming up. Raised temperature in my 12X20 livingroom to a comfortable 68 degrees when the night temp was down to 28 degrees. Would recommend this heater. Shipping was reasonable and timely as well. Now have your site marked in my favorites as expect to make other purchases in the future.
