It took less than an hour to install and wire in. Directions could be more clear, but not too confusing. All in all so far so good. Will have to wait to find out how economical the unit is.

This heater is everything and more! Heats up a 10x11x8 room in just a few minutes! Guaranteed this would heat up 3 times this size of the room I am using it for. Very quiet operation. The quality of materials, installation instructions and performance have made me a believer in this brand. I recommend the 240 volt models for increased efficiency and was more than pleasently surprised at the service I recieved when I telephoned my order in. Product information I was given was 'spot on' and the lady I talked with knew her stuff. Great! Delivery was only 4 days by their standard shipping. Wow!

I haven't got into the frigid temps yet but at 20 degrees out side, I warmed up a garage 28 x 24 x 9 to 50 degrees in about 20 minutes. It's quiet and it doen't take up any garage space, it's completely out of the way. Happy so far with it. Only thing I would prefer it do was to be able to adjust it to a lower temperature, say around 35 degrees would be perfect. When more heat is needed it would warm up fast. I bought 2 of these heaters. One for the garage and one for the shop.

I had purchased a heater from Lowes that was two sizes smaller than these heaters and it works great and the energy use was surprisingly low. I was ready to buy another one and the price had went up by about $50. That shocked me and I found this site and found the larger heaters and they worked with me with the price and it was sooo much cheaper than Lowes and they were all the way accross the country. The heaters are great and work so well I recomend these heaters and especially this site.

Installed this heater (and a 3000 watt one) at my cabin instead of messing with Kerosene. Installation was very easy except for placing the final front cover (some of the screws were hard to line up, but not that big of a deal). I had hear reviews of it being "loud" but found it actually much quieter than expected...not a problem at all. One of them kept the nearly 600 sq ft on 1st floor (uninsulated) plenty warm on a low setting, and cycled on and off as needed. Granted it wasn't too cold outside, but expect the two heaters to do a great job as it gets colder. Sales/shipping experience was great!

Air & Water is a pleasure with which to do business. Their prices are competitive and line of products impressive. Fast, efficient, friendly service. The heater works great and really heats up our approx. 400 sq ft room. Our biggest complaint is the noise. It is EXTREMELY loud. A small complaint is the way the heat control knob is placed. You have to read the heat setting at the bottom of the dial. Our unit is placed abt. a foot from the floor, so you can't read the dial number setting unless you get down on your hands and knees & look up. If you wish to place your unit up high -- reading the number should be no problem. For those of us who set the unit lower on the wall, it is definitely a problem. So, kudos on its heat efficiency and overall quality of the unit's construction. Thumbs down for the control setting design and the loudness.

Quiet heater heats up quick good pricing customer service easy to deal with on initial purchase. Have not had any problems yet.

This was a xmlnsnt of series awh 3000 it took 25 minutes to install. We have nothing negative to say except it's louder than last one. By the way the last one we had for 25 years hope this last as long. I like the white color matches walls in shop. Thanks for a great product.

Was very pleased with the overall quality of the Q-Mark LFK484 wall heater. The product is very well made and our TV room (abt. 400 square feet) heats up quickly. My biggest complaint is how very noisy the unit is. This heater is in our TV room and it is extremely hard to hear the TV when the fan is running -- and the TV is a good 16 feet from where we sit. We were pleased with how quickly the item arrived and how well Air and Water communicated. It was well packaged and arrived without a mark.

We purchased the Q-Mark LFK484 Wall Heater to replace the old (1964) but still functional baseboard heaters in our LR and Kitchen during remodeling. The Q-Mark takes up less space (giving us more wall area for furniture placement) and heats the area much quicker than the baseboards did but it makes a lot of noise - similar to that of a central heating unit. It runs at full force, there is no adjustment to the fan speed. The thermostat control is a little funky. You run the fan at full blast and then somehow have to figure out that you are comfortable with the temperature of the room and then you adjust the knob down. So the fan cycles on and off to keep the temperature fairly constant. In other words - you can't really set it at 68 degrees - you set it to your own comfort level. Also, the instructions say to leave it on all the time which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me since people usually set the temperature of the room lower at night when they are sleeping. Oh, that brings up another issue - if we were to have put this anywhere near the bedroom we wouldn't be able to sleep through the noise of the fan turning on and off. So, I would recommend the heater with some caveats - don't expect the thermostat to work the way you think one should and don't expect to sleep through the fan noise. Other than that, the unit appears to be well built, puts out satisfactory heat for southern California application and takes up very little wall space.

I have large bathroom with big windows. The existing HVAC system just couldn't keep it warm. I added a Q-Mark Wall Heater and WOW! This room is wonderful... It is so nice to step out of the shower into a warm room. And it is quiet which is important being next to the bedroom. I'm more than happy I bought the Q-Mark Wall Heater and would recommend it to anyone who has a space to heat.

This unit does the job quick, but the fan/motor sound is a bit loud. Not much of an issue for me as this until went in a kids playroom. The jury is still out on how much higher my electric bill will be.

I neede a heater for my temp office and didnt have alot of room to spare, fit right in between studs and has about 2" sticking out, the fan is nice in that it blows the heat out not like base board heaters that take up an entire wall and have no blower, easy, self contained, great heating option.

I was over amazed by the amount of heat this heater puts out. Vary easy to install. Heater will heat most of the house. (2100 sq ft single story). Planning to install another one in the other end of house. Has already cut electric bill by 25%.

We recently had a patio room added on to our home. This heater warms up our large room nice and cozy warm so we may enjoy our new patio all year long!

We have only had this heater (two of them) for one week. We are thrilled with how fast they heat the rooms. We use them in bathrooms, so we do not turn them past the 3 setting. If we do, it is way too hot. The thermostat works great at keeping it at a level temperature. The only drawback is the noise of the fan. It is fairly loud but is okay in the bathroom.

The heater is working well and the people I talked with were very helpful and had a good product knowledge.

I ordered two of these to provide work area heat in a 1200 sq ft area. We also have a propane stove. However, I am amazed that often one provides ample heat for the area and keeps everything very comfortable! Would definitely recommend these!

I purchased the Q-Mark LFK484 Wall Heater to replace an electric wall heater that failed after two years. This new wall heater is very well made and its appearance is pleasing to the eye. It was a very easy installation. I am very pleased with the heater and also my experience in purchasing it from Air & Water, Inc.

PROS: I have used one of these heaters for 8 years and I ordered another one several years ago for another part of my house. They have operated flawlessly except for having to replace one thermostat. I order two more of them, one for a Christmas present to a friend and another one as a backup in case the two I have every fail. These are good heaters and they are well made. CONS:The cover is a little noisy if you don't put a spacer behind it when surface mounting the heater. This would not be a problem if recessed mounted. The knob on the thermostat is very easy to break off if you aren't careful when you pull it off to remove the cover for cleaning, once broken, it cannot be fixed as it is a small 1/8" plastic shaft inside the thermostat... and very fragile. It looks like it was designed to break off rather than damage the thermostat which could cause a safety issue. Good news is the thermostat is a standard part on many appliances.

I have installed this in my basement as an insert in the wall and I am very happy with it so far. It is quiet and heats up the lower 1/2 basement nicely. I forward the product info and your web site to my brother-in-law in Michigan. Sounds like he wants one for his basement.

I had a cold family room and wanted a heater in place by the super bowl. Under normal circumstances, you had to be under a blanket to watch TV in the room. After looking at the quartz style heater and the problems associated with these, their cost and their failure rate, I looked at an alternative. The heater was easy to install in the wall and after having my friend who is an electrician hook it up to the fuse panel it was ready to go. After about an hour of running it, the room was 72 degrees and comfortable, perfect for the game. It not only heats my family room but warms up my kitchen breakfast room area as well. Best of all it takes the additional strain off of my whole house gas furnace by the thermostat thinking that the house is warmer than it actually is. You can heat and be comfortable in the rooms that you use the most. It is a great buy for the money and less than a quartz heater.

It works really well, and has saved substantially on my natural gas bill. I figure that the savings this winter alone will pay for the cost of the heater.
