Description
The KuulAire KA50 Portable Evaporative Swamp Cooler works where traditional air conditioning is unavailable, impractical or cost prohibitive. It provides cool, fresh and filtered air and is easy to operate, easy to clean and easy to maintain.
The KuulAire KA50 portable evaporative swamp cooler can be used as a cooler, fan and humidifier. This means you can use it almost all year round. There are also three fan speed settings so the strength of the cooling is fully adjustable. The direction of the cooling is also directed by the oscillating louvers.
The KA50 portable evaporative swamp cooler includes a remote control for convenient control. It cools up to 350 square feet with 750 CFM. It is portable, compact and attractive. A one year limited warranty is also included.

it is a good unit
The main complaint is i purchased 4 of these units and all 4 lasted approximately one season. We would have repaired them but there are no motor replacement parts. So these units are not cost effective for only 1 season. We will be looking for something else next year. We live in the desert and need something that will last.

Just what I was looking for
I have been looking for a portable evaporative cooler like this for two years. I have another that appears to be the same thing except it has a different name and holds 1 gallon more water. They are great units and work well in our dry climate. Very lightweight and easy to move around. I am so happy with the first one which I have had for 4-5 years. These don't need to be vented out a window so you can place them anywhere in the room you like, which was very important to me.
The only thing we noticed with this one was that it had a smell when we first started using it, but it must have been a "new" thing as it is fine now.

Fantastic product!
Really cooled the air and added much needed moisture to our dry Colorado air. Can't wait to try out the winter as a humidifier!

The cooler was easy to fill and use.
The cooler was attractively designed and very easy to use. I especially lked the wide mouth for filling it. Very user friendly.

It doesn't cost much to use at all!
Simple to use. Took only a couples of tries to maximize my benefit. Really moves the air! I've run it every day and some nights since it arrived and it only added about $10.00 to my electric bil. I like that very much!

Works well
This cooler works well. It is amazing if you put ice in the water compartment, it won't last long but, has capability to lower a decent sized room by 10 degrees in a short amount of time. The only issue I have is filling up the water resevoir so much. Works great though.

Great product
Has really helped in keeping the kitchen area cool while cooking. Will also use in winter as a humidifier. A little noisy, but nothing big, because it is doing a job and that is keeping things nice and cool. Easy to move around it needed from room to room.

A really good product that does the job!
This is the 3rd unit that I have purchases in the past 12 years. 2 of the last 3 just would simply not cool. However, the KA50 does the job. It is a little noisier than I had hoped but it cranks out the air. I highly recommend it.
