The KuulAire KA50 portable evaporative cooler works where traditional air conditioning is unavailable, impractical or cost prohibitive. This is my second KuulAire. I live in a condo with a central cooling system which has been down for 2 weeks while we await a new tower. The two KuulAire's I have kept my 1350 sq. ft condo very comfortable. They are easy to fill and empty. It is only necessary to fill them about every 6-8 hours.
I have recommended KuulAire to several of my neighbors. The scratch and dent unit I received was in excellent condition except for a broken caster which I was able to replace for $7.25.

I used it in a heated room to increase the humidity so the water reservior ran low in four hours instead of the 12-14 that it said was expected. That however was understandable due to the conditions.

I returned the product because it initially will cool, but in a 100sq ft office space, the temp was only dropping 1-2 degrees...that's running on cool mode all day! The product itself is straight forward and simple to use, but it just didn't cool as much as I needed.
