We purchased two KA45 personal portable coolers. One for our bedroom to replace a portable Mastercool that quit and an extra to move around the house. We used one of these the same night we received it have used it almose every night since. Southeast New Mexico has had one of the hottest and driest summers in a long time and this cooler does the trick to drop the temperature and move air. We've used the other in other rooms, the kitchen, an office, the sewing room. It's quiet and the water tank lasts 7+ hours on low.

product advertisement. It is very stylish and easy to move around the room. Cools nicely and is somewhat loud,
but not too bad. Sounds similar to a hotel AC unit, and
cools ALMOST as good.

We have a one room apt. which does not cool well in the summer in florida and its on the second floor. After putting the unit in the apt., the temp dropped about 10 degrees even in the humid weather down here. Works well for us and our renter is happy. The only complaint is, just a bit noisey.

The KA45 Kooler is a great addition to our cooling existing cooling system. Over the years I had notice our aging HVAC becoming less effiecient and working harder. In June I visited our neighborhood looking for a tower fan for the inside of the house. I noticed the design of the KA45 and decided to give it a try.
After the first day we noticed a big difference in the coolness of the room. After the first month we received the Power Bill and noticed a significant decrease in usage, which we are pretty sure was due to the HVAC unit not coming on or running as long since the thermostat is in the same room.

We really enjoy using the kuulaire and it has been a big help with our den. We get the sun in this room all day and it's just not as cool as the rest of the house. The only thing I don't like about it is: (1) if it had four wheels so we could easily move it around the room. You have to gently move it or turn it because of the weight of the water. (2) If it was cooler in temperature. It only "cools" the room about 4 degrees less than what it was, however, we couldn't do without it now that we've used it. We love the remote control, the swing mode and the looks of it.

We live in a large air conditioned home, But our A/c does not cool my room the same as the rest of the house, when it is 72 degrees in the rest of the house my room would be 80 degrees (it's located the opposite end of the house) we had the A/C serviced and ducts cleaned and inspected but noticed no improvement. When I saw an ad for Kuulaire, decided to give it a try. Within several hours after plugging it in, my room temperature had dropped four degrees. We also found that once the room cooled to comfort, we could run it at a lower speed medium to low. Yes, I think it was a very good choice. We have reverse osmosis water in our home and when we cleaned unit after one week, no slime, sludge or anything untoward noted. So yes, I feel this unit solves a problem for us.

I have a reef tank and I thought that an evaporative cooler might be an alternative to an expensive chiller for controlling the tank temperature when the metal halide lights are on. I think the jury is still out on that, but I am impressed with the unit's ability to produce cool air using evaporation. The quality of the K45 is pretty good given the price point and the Chinese manufacturing. The design is also good, and it comes with a nice little remote.

Running the Kuul Aire evaporative cooler [especially in the late morning, early afternoon & late evening] replaces running the A/C unit. That's a big savings. The remote control is very handy for changing to any setting I want. Also cycling between pump on & off is a nice feature when the humidity increases.
