My heater just shuts off. Power is still on the controls. Temperature continues to drop. Eventually heater is freezing cold and never warms back up. But power is still on the digital controls. So it has not just shut off as it reached the set temperature. Is there a solution for this ?? This is my second exact heater it's happened to.

My issue is, I have set the heater to a specific temperature but for some odd reason the heater gets hotter than what was originally set and it also displays the hotter temperature on the display screen. I am confident I set my desired temperature correctly. For instance, I set the heater to 70 degrees and for an unknown reason the heater heats up to 89 degrees (very uncomfortable temperature).

I would not want anyone to buy this heater & run it all the time. I know cause thats what we did & its a wonder are house didnt burn down. I run it on 63 to 65 didnt realize that the cord got hot.IT melted to where i couldnt unplug it & the one plug prong is black. I pluged it in yesterday got it hot &got it unpluged . If you buy one just be careful with it. thank you patty
