Excellant Product....I have four(4)
I read up on these heaters online from specs and other reviews. They worked best in a closed room with a ceiling fan. They have trouble keeping up when the temp. outside is below 40 degrees F. But, for closing off rooms and just heating the rooms you need they are great. My electric went up about a $100, but I have four(4) and two(2) run constantly. Compared to the $400 to $500 in propane, they work very well. They even warm the cast iron tub in the bathroom, if you pull the shower curtain open(small bathroom).

Very satisfied
I bought this product after visiting with my parents over Thanksgiving and they had this heater in their second floor studio apartment. I have used the heater at least 10 times over the past few weeks. So far the only complaint is, I had to get up on several occasions to turn the heater off because it has gotten too warm during the night in my bedroom.

Attractive and quiet
The product was well packaged and easy to put together. I like that I can set the temperature and that it will automatically go into Eco mode when the temperature is reached. It looks nice and is completely quiet, which is why I chose this model. However, the absence of a blower means that it takes longer for the room to heat up. We live in PA and are using the heater in a 10x16 ft (3 season) sunroom. We are still experimenting with the most efficient operation, i.e. using it to maintain the temperature once the sun has heated the room, starting it up several hours before we want to use the room, etc. So far we are pleased with the results.

After our utility bill skyrocketed last month, we decided to look into alternative heating to reduce our gas bill. I did a lot of research on the internet and cam across the Soleus Flat Panel Space Heater. I ordered it and the delivery time was excellent. I have used it for 2 weeks now and am nice and warm in the room I am using it in, although I don't know the outcome of my next utility bill, am satisfied that my furnace doesn't run as often as before. It is a very unobtrusive heat, no blower, just a nice radiating heat. I believe I would recommend it without any hesitation.

I bought four heaters earlier this fall to heat my house. I want to stop using expensive propane heating. As it got colder, I needed a fifth heater to maintain warmth in my 1700 sq. ft. home.
The big update is I tried an oil filled electric radiator heater. I found it to be less efficient! I had to run the oil heater on 1500 W verses the Soleus Micathermic heater on 1000 W.
Also, the Soleus has a digital thermostat--a must have to accurately set your temperature.
I highly recommend the Soleus Micathermic Heater!

I was very happy with this product until I put it to work. I was disappointed at its performance. This product works effectively only within two feet radius around the unit. So even though I have the heater on, the whole room is always chilling cold. I will NOT recommend this product to anyone because I can't feel a thing when it's on unless you are within two feet from the unit. A piece of nice looking unit for nothing.

I am in a two-story, 1700 sq.ft. house. We are currently on propane. I bought four heaters to distribute throughout my house. I am using them 24/7 for one month to compare the cost of electricity to propane. It is October and we have seen as low as 48 degrees. They are quiet and the heaters are keeping up with my desired temperature settings.
