We purchased the Soleus for our master bedroom. We recently moved to the mountains and our heat pump is old, so we purchased this product for the master bedroom and an infrared heater for the LR. Haven't had to use the heat pump since!

I've had this heater for about 3 months now, and I'm very satisfied with it. It does the job, it heats up my small bedroom very well in this New York winter. It looks good, it's relatively compact, and it's very light. The material looks kind of fragile, but I haven't had any real problems with that yet, since I take good care of it. The safety switch is okay too. The only problem is that it makes a crackling noise when it rotates, which bothered me a lot in the beginning, but now I guess I'm used to it. Every time the rotation hits the 180 degree angle, it makes an irregular clicking noise before it turns the other way, and this repeats on the other side too. It's not too loud, but it's noticeable and it used to scare me at night when the lights were off and I didn't know where the noise was coming from. The electricity bill went up a lot though, so I try to use it only at night. Good product nevertheless.

Great heater, it's perfect for warming up my masterbath.
Living in the desert where the temps are so high all summer long also makes for very high electric bills, so when the cooler weather comes I prefer to get a break from paying the electric company any more then I have to, so if I do not absolutely have to run the central heat I don't. I love this heater for warming up the bathrooms before bathing, it gets the room perfectly toasty on cold winter mornings. I also put it near me in the greatroom if I'm going to be spending the day doing paperwork or if I am stuck to my PC for extended periods, it's great for keeping your personal space nice & warm. The tip over safety is great, especially w/having animals around the house it's nice to know that if they were to knock it over it will shut its self off. I think this is a great personal space heater as well as for small rooms. For the money you can't beat this one.

I got this product for my bedroom, which is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. It is a great product, I have no complaints, I have it on LOW at night and I had to get up and turn it off because I was too hot. It is a small heater/fan for a BEDROOM or bath.

Because my office is in a an older building, the temp has been extremly hard to regulate. Ceramic heaters that just sit there just have not done the trick. This heart oscilates blowing the warm air throughout the room. Is is awesome. the safety feature is spot on, and the unit does not get really hot on the outside. I would get one for my home if needed.

This heater is small but mighty!! While it didn't heat the whole house, it took the chill off the bedroom well enough that getting out from under the covers wasn't difficult while my central heat was on the blink. This has been one of the coldest winters in decades in Florida! The Soleus HC7-15-01 saved me! Being Florida, the fan only option has also been a great benefit already! Sometimes I don't need the a/c on, but just need some air circulating; this little guy does the trick!

During the recent cold snap with record lows in Florida my old space heater gave up the ghost! Using my central heat pump is so expensive to run that I really don't like to use it! So, I ordered the Soleus HC7 from Air & Water, Inc, because I knew their terrific service would get my selection here quickly. Their website is so user-friendly and the video demonstrations and customer comments helped me choose the heater best for me. It is light weight and easy to move from room to room, and takes up such a small space I can actually place it on a wooden tv tray stand where I need it. AND, since I'm in Florida, the fact that I can use the fan alone to move air in the summer is a definite plus! I'll get a LOT of year around use from this!
