I'm Glad I ordered this!
I am very happy with this fireplace. I ordered it during the last part of summer. We use it all the time. It really adds a lot to the frontroom. I love all the features it has. I am really happy I didn't pay attention to any negative reviews on it!

PROS: Heater works from top. Parts support OK. CONS: Hard to see display with very little light. Noisy, hard to assemble, poor parts support. Needs clear front instead of dark brown window. Log display cheap looking.

It was shipped with missing screws and a cracked window pane. Dimplex customer care was hard to reach but eventually promised new parts. The fire log display is not visible during the day due to a dark tinted window glass. When it does light up it looks like a smoldering half lit fire..nothing like the web picture. Air and Water personnel are not trained or not organized to complete a smooth purchase.
