I bought this as a scratch and dent but I cannot find anything wrong or damaged. Unit installed very nicely in my 24x24 ft partialy insulated garage ( the garage door is not insulated) that I use as a shop. It creates instant heat and warms up the room quickly. All in all I would say that this was a great deal and I am very satisfied.

I'm very happy with my NewAir 73 i wired it in and it keeps my 2 car garage nice and warm with minimal running time.

I couldn't even find a scratch or dent! Unit works great.

I purchased the heater for my garage and it works great! I purchased a dent & scratch unit to save a couple bucks and it was missing the bracket. Air & Water promptley took care of it and all is geat! Thanks

I purchased this unit to heat our "2 car" (20x20x10') garage in the winter. Having received it last week, it was installed with an electric range connector into a installed receptacle in the garage. I used a 6 foot cable, which has another 2 feet from the receptacle to the distribution box. The unit was wall mounted, about 8 feet up, on an uninsulated outside wall, parallel to an indoor/insulated wall and facing an indoor/insulated wall (with an indoor temperature of 65 degrees). The ceiling is uninsulated. All walls are sheet-rocked and I did follow the odd foundation/sheetrock lines with caulking to prevent drafts and numerous spider entrances. I was let down that the unit's thermostat would turn off quite quickly at anything but the highest setting, most likely to to placement near a corner of the garage. On high though, I can easily get the garage up to about 80 degrees within 3 hours, on a 40 degree day last weekend (and it had started turning to ice on Sunday night, snowing on Monday). I had wished that the person working on a car in the garage had turned the unit down as it was BAKING in there when I went back in. I am glad the unit appears to put out the designed heat (5000W worth) and that it meets the needs of my garage use (weekend tasks, as a hobby) until I can move into a larger space. I would have no problem using two of these to more rapidly heat a larger space in the future. I will set to 60 degrees (with a separate thermometer to find where on the knob this is) for typical use. Again though, I have only had the unit for a week and used two days, about 10 hours. Time will tell how the unit holds up. Noise wise, the unit is fairly disturbing in a 2 car garage, even with music playing on some large bookshelf speakers. For the heat, it's worth putting up with. I measured 67db at 1 meter in front of the unit, with a cheap sound level meter (DT-85A).

Had a problem with the first heater shipped, the blower fan wasn't running, binding up. Call rightaway and another heater was sent to me. Once I got the new replacement, it runs great. It's amazing that something that small can heat up a large area. Very happy with this product and most happy with the customer service. Things happen and customer service was very kind to help me out with a new replacement. Thank you

HAVE BEEN USING GARAGE HEATER FOR TWO SEASONS. BUILT MY FOUR DOGGIES A DELUXE CLOSED IN PORCH WITH A/C FOR THE HOT SUMMER DAYS AND THEY ASKED ME FOR A GOOD SPACE HEATER FOR THOSE COLD PENN. NITES. I HAVE NO WORRIES THAT THEY WILL BE TOASTY WARM.
