I was expecting a larger unit when it came in the mail. Although this was misleading. I have a 480 Sq. ft. garage that is not insulated with 10 ft. high walls. On a 20 degree day, I turned the unit on and left for approx. 35 minutes. The garage had warmed to almost 50 degrees. Within an hour the workspace was comfortable without gloves. The unit is a little loud, but didn't really notice in the shop. I just turned up the radio a bit. Very happy with the overall performance of this unit.

We have a 20x30 insulated shed. My husband wanted a heater for it. We plugged this in when it was very cold outside and it immediately heated the shed up to a comfortable 65 degrees. We were pleasantly surprised at the low cost too! We are very satisfied with it!

I have a hobby machine shop in a two car detached garage. I have plenty of electic avalible, but some of the coatings Iuse can not have open flame. This heater works great, and is cheap to operate.

This heater was shipped within 3 business days and I had the electrical plug receptacle for it installed in one hour, so I was able to get my one car garage/shop heated with this NewAir G56 from 34? to 60? within one hour! It appears to only use 5.6 KWs of electricity for only $0.67 per hour. I couldn't be happier with the NewAir G56 considering I live in Colorado with 30" of snow on the ground, with outside temperatures in the teens , and Air & Water's speedy delivery of this heater.

Does a great job of heating my 500 square foot un-insulated garage. The only thing that was a surprise was that there is no on/off switch on the unit. We just flip the circuit breaker for the receptacle it is plugged into.

The NewAir G56 garage heater is super. I live in the So CAL mountains at 6000 feet so my 2 car garage is in the 30-40's all winter. In 30 minutes I can do my wood working and in 45 I have to turn it down. The thermostat does an excellent job of controlling a comfortable temp. I highly recommend the G56 for your garage. Make sure you have a 240v wall plug and you'll be good-to-go. The jury is still out on energy efficiency.

Very fast shipping, upon arrival I built a hanger and had it installed in about 20 minutes. Plugged it in, flipped the circuit breaker and it was running. Total installation time was about 35 minutes. we have had abnormally cold nights getting down to the low 20's. I have the thermostat set at less than half way. Of course I kept check on the temps for a few days, and whenever I have gone out it has been comfortable. I have been working out in my garage the past few days and I checked the temp with a thermometer and it has always been a consistant 55 deg, no matter if I check it at bedtime or first thing in the morning. My garage is 24X24 w/ insulation but no sheetrock. I did insulate the garage doors w/ 1" foil backed rigid foam. My neighbor has come over twice to check the heater. I think he is going to be in touch with you. Very pleased with the product, shipping and especially the price. My neighbor is an electrician and has told me that the heater should be pretty economical to run. however I haven't had it long enough to compare billing yet.

This unit works better than expected. Heated my 450 Sq. Ft. shop from 32 degrees to mid 60's in two days. This was amazing considering there is no attic insulation and the outside temperature has been rumbling around 0 degrees. Once the attic is insulated this heater should be a resonably energy efficient way of heating the space.

My new air garage heater is super.
