The instructions were a little confusing because they used the same letter for the shelves, which were different, but the product is great and we have used it often already! I would recommend it highly. It looks great, warms our room quickly, and is a great addition to our basement game room.

Took a while actually searching for a decent electric fireplace for my mother who wanted one to replace a shelving like unit on her porch. Needed something that could support her T.V and cable box and still have storage space as well. I found this, shot the link to my father who also said it 'should' be perfect. We surprised her by putting it together and setting it up. It fit perfectly in the space we needed it to fit in. The construction was all right, not perfect but enough to follow. When we started we weren't sure of some of the components as we had an extra 'Q1' piece for the shelves, and some screw that weren't listed or really matching to the items list for building. But in all honesty it was still relatively easy to put together and you would never know it. The fireplace is for the most part quiet and does put up enough heat for what we need. Our porch is technically enclosed, however there is no insulation for keeping heat in. We had it going on a medium setting and it kept the porch the same temperature as our house for a party we had for coworkers. Which given how cold it was outside at the time was awesome. I would recommend this product to others that want a simple functional fireplace for their homes. It's roughly the same size as a small bookcase or entertainment center so would work nice in smaller rooms or as an accent type piece. Just in case you're curious. Also, time frame between purchase and receiving is not that bad considering. I ordered it, within a week it was shipped and we had it about two days after the shipping notice was received.
