This heater is great!
I purchased 3 of these heaters for my older home. I do not have central heat/air, and these are a great alternative to gas. I keep these on low and they have kept my house warm on very cold winter days. I couldn't be more pleased. One thing you need to know about these heaters, is that they make random clicking noises. This takes a while to get used to, especially if you are a light sleeper and you have them in your bedroom.

This is the second of these heaters I've purchased. They efficiently heat a bedroom, which is where I'm using this one. I've never used the higher wattage setting, but it seems to provide adequate heat at the low setting. It also fits up nicely against the wall, so it's out of the way.
