I like your product, we bought it for our traler which is about 33 ft long with one slide out. Our last trip we went to the beach and where we were located we could see a full view of the ocean from our bay windows, but they do fog as moisture increases in the trailer. That was the reason for the purchase I did expect it to do a better job of keep the windows dry as we still had to keep wipeing the windows with paper towels. I bought the right size for our space and so was dissapointed when it did not keep the windows dry. It is quiet and does remove a little moisture, but not as much as expected. Thank You

We use the dehumidifier in our Airstream Trailer and find it an more effective alternative to the passive "granular" containers placed around the RV. We dry-camped in Yosemite and found the inside humidity to be a problem without the EDV. (no electricity) Overnight and connected to shore power, the unit was able remove humidity without problem. Overall, great unit and worth the investment.

Although this unit doesn't remove the volume of moisture that a compressor type unit, it's very, very quiet and will remove a significant quantity of water. First day I dumped about a 1/2 cup of water from the daylight basement. That is a lot compared to Dry-Z-Air crystals. Will see how this unit performs over the next few months and will purchase another if it holds up so I can have one running upstairs.

This dehumidifier (DH) unit is used to remove excess moisture from our sunroom, which we heat in the winter only when we are going to have company. We use a DH so that the windows don't have condensate that runs down and stains the sills. This is the third DH unit we have used. The previous ones were a smaller capacity, performed well but each lasted only about two years. The current DH has been in use for about 2 months and is performing well; we will wait to see if its service life is longer than the previous two.

Pulls 1-2 cups of water from the bedroom air each 24hrs. Room is significantly more comfortable to breathe and sleep in. Bedroom fabrics no longer feel damp. Quiet background hum does not disturb sleeping. Great for small-medium sized rooms and easy to transport from location to location around my basement apartment if need be. I like the dehumidifier, but it is not big enough. It does not draw the water out of the room like the big ones do, but it will be ok. I only have to empty it every three days. My primary use for this dehumidfier was to eliminate the musty smell in a room that isn't heated all the time in the winter. Because it is cold in there, I don't have the problem with the converter getting too hot. I did put it over a tin cookie can just in case, but it doesn't heat up that much. The room is about 12 x 12 and the machine pulls about half a cup every two or three days. It isn't very loud and is easy to empty and clean. I'm so glad I purchased this product.

When I bought this little workhorse, I had my doubts that it would do the job I needed it to. I was surprised at the amount of moisture it drew from the air. I had it on alot during the first week. When the air became less moist I switch it on in the evenings for a couple of hours then turn it off. I am happy with this little machine.

This dehumidifier works well in my 10x12 converted garage family room. I don't heat it in the winter except on occasion and I keep the blinds closed to keep out the cold. Last year, I noticed a musty smell and decided to try a dehumidifier this winter. So far, it is collecting water at about half a cup a day and I haven't closed the blinds yet, so I know that the sun is helping to keep things dry. Later in the season it should collect even more. I was concerned that the d/c converter would get too hot as others claimed, but perhaps because it is cool in the room, that hasn't been a problem. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This unit pulls the moisture from the air very well, except it doesn't shut off when the reservoir is full. It kept on running, making a large puddle on my carpet. The plug also is very hard to push down, and makes it very hard to get the water container out. I think it needs more work in the design department.

The Eva-Dry EDV-2200 works great. We camp a lot and in parts of the year when you do not need as much a/c or heat the moisture from humidity and just the 4 of us breathing would form on the insides of the windows and make it feel sticky inside. The Eva-Dry EDV-2200 did a fantastic job of removing the moisture the windows were clear in the mornings and we slept better. The only issue I have with the unit is the heat that comes from the power supply. I had read this in reviews prior to purchase so I had planned to elevate the power supply and provide ventilation for it, it helped. Over all my family is very satisfied with the Eva-Dry EDV-2200.

We live in a 100+ year old house, and the bathroom has no fan or vent of any kind. I purchased the Eva-Dry 2200 because the description said it was effective for up to 2200 sq ft. and had a quiet operation. It did perform quietly, but there's no way it was powerful enough for the size that it claimed. My basement is only 1000 sq ft and the moisture levels were very high with the Eva dry running. I ended up having to buy a much larger unit that is removing moisture way more effectively. I'd say the product falsely advertises its effectiveness. It would be fine for a room but not for a whole basement like it claims.

My big one broke, just a little over a year old. I would have to mail it back and pay shipping and it just did not seem worth it. I am so happy with the dehumidifier. It stopped all the problems I have had for the longest time in my master bedroom...I tried everything possible to control the dampness...After setting it up in that room for a period of four days. I emptied two cups of water.
Why I never thought to do that before. I am not sure. I don't use that room...although it is fully furnished. I felt was the reason...The lack of use and I really don't pay that much attention to it. I used my EDV-2200 in a basement office about 12x12. It collected water but not enough to affect the hydrometer reading. Water was being taken out but I relied on the Eva-Dry cabinet dehumidifiers. I eventually bought a Frigidare dehumidifier which is sucking water out by the quarts. Sorry, I expected too much. I do like the quiet operation...except when I turn on the radio. The 12vdc wipes out Rush Limbaugh, etc. Can't have that! Thanks.

My husband and I live full time in our RV. Living on the wet west coast as we do for half of the year, moisture is a big problem in our unit. We were using those crystal units but, boy what a mess when one gets spilled. We purchased the small Eva-Dry unit 2 years ago and it ran for 2 years pretty much non stop. We were so impressed with this little unit we purchased its bigger brother this year. It keeps up so well with our 40' unit I do not need to use crystals as a backup.
