What a surprise this was! Puts out more heat then advertised, looks better than the picture, and is built solid. We're now going to move it to the bedroom and get another one slightly larger for the living room. LOVE IT!!

I should have purchased this fireplace as soon as we here in south Florida started getting that cold snap a couple weeks ago! I never hooked up the heat strip on my unit, Cause it "never gets cold enough" here that a sweater and blanket is enough! Well we froze. My dogs and I slept down stairs all there beds clustered together snuggies on them me bundled up like I was out in the elements! My crappy place where I live is old drafty And doesn't even have plywood between the 1983 aluminum siding and the dry wall! There were absolutely No space heaters anywhere in south Florida. All sold out after the first day! See a lot of people bought those space heaters cause they didn't want to heat there entire house that's what the guy at sears told me! Then I saw that commercial on those Amish people that make those heat surge fireplaces! I don't know I just didn't want to buy one from them. On line I went! Your ad came first, I could put it on my credit card, cause it was a necessity> I did! I wanted to ship it USPS (cause I work there) However fed x was the carrier! I paid for that 2 day delivery! I had my son stay at my place so I wouldn't miss the delivery and didn't want it sitting outside till I got home. We tracked it! The eta for delivery was like 9 am till 430pm! I came home for lunch one hour! AS I opened the door to leave, there in the parking lot was the fed x guy unloading it! I went back to work! My son said he would get it out of the box and check it out! The temp that day was about 50 day then went down in the 40s. When I got back home from work (my son went back to his place) I opened the door, the fireplace was on the temp in the room of my crappy place was 87 degrees! holey moley. I sure wish I purchased it sooner. I've used it almost every night, my dogs love it Truman lays there and just watches it. Harry checks it out walks by it every so often and smells the air! I've told a lot of people I know about it, not everyone understands what a heat surge fireplace is! Well I'm sure you get the picture I love it am very happy I purchased it and should never waited so long! I'm prepared for the next cold snap we get! I think one is coming down this week! I Hope So!!! So I can tell everyone how comfortable my crappy place is cause I own this electric fire place. Oh By the way my mother of course asks "how much electric will it use"! Can't be any more that the ac bill I get when its 98 degrees here for 5 months straight! I love this product! Thanks for listening to my story, thanks for being the first ad I opened up on line that night! And I can't wait for it to get cold again! Peace to you and Thank you from a very satisfied customer.
