We have a 30' class A Motorhome, I wanted to set the fireplace in a cabinet, no room so I got the "Cube". It is portable and we can move it as needed. Happy to see that it is not top heavy, all the weight being low eliminates the tip over effect while driving.
The Cube is super quiet and does more than just look good, it heats. We used it camping last weekend, cold wintry weather 40-50 degrees and it ran all night , we didn't turn our propane furnace on at all.
Our friends got a new travel trailer with a Dimplex fireplace built in, we loved it. They paid $45,000 for theirs, ours was $217.00.

There is always one fact that accompanies every small heater of this size, and that is, that they are all "capable of heating a 400 sq. ft. area". I moved from Phoenix where I had three large outside dogs to an area that has extreme winter weather. Bringing the guys inside the house was not an option so I decided to give them the 600 sq. ft. shed for shelter. Even though it was well insulated there wasn't enough protection to keep the harsh winter weather at bay. So I purchased this heater for them and was surprised to see that it kept this larger area warm. I don't worry when it's 26 degrees outside. Granted it won't heat the "dog house" to 70 when it's freezing outside. But it's warm enough for me to be out there with them, feed them, clean up after them, and of course use the shed for our needs. The dogs share. That says a lot!

This is a great little fireplace which we purchased to replace our regular wood burning fireplace. So far we are very pleased with the look and the performance, though it does make a strange ticking sound when the heat portion is not in use, and we are not sure if this is "the norm". It's not something that is a big deal. Everyone who has seen it thinks it is really quite the thing!

Most heaters out there look pretty boring and the ones that resemble fireplaces don't really match my decor. This Dimplex unit has a pretty modern design that fits in with my loft. It kind of look like a computer monitor from the picture, but I think that's part of the attraction I had with it (people have been asking where I got it). The finish is clean and the flames are very realistic, considering they're not real.
That said, I received the fireplace last week and was so excited to take it out of the box! After unpacking this little fireplace, I was blown away at how cute it really is. It is pretty small, but that's what I needed. All I really had to do was take it out of the carton and plug it in. I have bought a few things from Air and Water and this is easily one of my favorites. If you have reservations about buying this item, you'll be pleased with it. I could even see how this would make a unique gift for the holidays.
