It's noisier than I hoped. Also, the adjustment which holds the tilt angle is a bit difficult to tighten enough to hold the setting so the fan tends to drift downward unless you get rather aggressive with tightening it. The cord is quite short - another 12 inches wouldn't hurt. I love the fact that you can easily take it apart to clean the dust off the blades.

I bought one of these beautiful and expensive fans. It has hardly been used and basically won't run, the blade hardly moves. Beware nobody repairs them.
