Description

The Sharp CV-P12PX 11,500 BTU portable air conditioner is a cooling system that is easy to move from room to room. As well as being completely portable, it operates quietly, features purification technology and has a large dehumidification capacity. A full function remote with LCD display makes the portable air conditioner easy to control. The CV-P12PX also comes complete with an included flexible hose and window adapter kit that keeps out rain and bugs while venting out hot air.

Bucketless Design
The Sharp CV-P12PX portable air conditioner has no water tank to empty because a built-in condensate disposal system releases the excess water out of the exhaust hose.

4-Way Air Direction
The CV-P12PX portable air conditioner features 4-way air direction so that cool air is directed where you want it most. Also, for better distribution and comfort, automatic oscillating louvers sweep the air across the room.

Large Dehumidification Capacity
Every 24 hours, this portable air conditioner can remove up to 65 pints of moisture from the air.

Plasmacluster Ion Technology

This is a wonderful air-conditioner!! Quiet!! I'm planning on purchasing another unit when I move next summer to a larger place. Very easy to install, very light to wheel around from room-to-room. Using the unit since July 2 and so far I haven't had to empty the reservoir. I run it 24/7 and my electric bill crept up about $25-$30 bucks/ month. I'll take it. Air & Water shipped out the unit promptly, and were courteous when I called with a couple of questions. In sum: the unit was well worth it and the customer service pleasant and prompt. Good air conditioner but I had to order two because the first one was damaged during shipping. It looked fine on the outside but when I turned it on it made a loud clicking noise like the fan was hitting something. Sharp gave me a full refund including shipping. The new one makes a clicking noise on the mega cool setting but it's pretty quiet in normal mode. The only thing I don't like about it is you have to drain the water. It's in my second floor bedroom and there is really no place to drain it. I have to lift it up on a box so I can get a container underneath it. It fills up after about 24 hours of running. This unit is quiet and has good cooling capacity. The one drawback is draining the unit. It is really difficult and needs to be done by 2 people. July 12, 2010
