This product is an excellent concept, however, it simply does not put out the heat energy required to accomplish what the description states. 256 sq ft is a fairly large area and this heater has no more power than most of the other space heaters I looked at, including the Air King 8132 I purchased. The Air King performs very well according to the description.

I've been living in a 21' travel trailer for 8 years (full-time RVer) and have had to replace my ceramic heater annually, never finding one that satisfies or lasts.
You folks win the gold medal for truth in advertising! My Vornado heater performs EXACTLY as described on your site. Quiet; sensitive and accurate thermostat; temperature throughout the trailer is the same. The features on this heater is great. A thermostat is a must to keep our sun room a comfortable temperature. Vornado is a small heater but does the job nicely and it's quiet. I feel this was an excellent buy.

I am very pleased with my Vornado heater. I got it to keep my dog room warm on very cold nights. It works like I expected a Vornado product to work. It is easy to operate, with the controls being easy to locate. I set the temperature I want and off I go. The unit will also function as a fan only. I plan to buy a second one for my bathroom next. I like the dual function and the lasting quality of the Vornado products I've purchased over the past 9+ years now. I depend on my night time fan and use it every night without fail.

I ordered this as add'l heating for my kitchen, which (despite ADDING baseboard heating!) is always cold. I have a fairly large EIK so I was a bit skeptical when I unpacked my heater. I was pleasantly surprised. There are actually times now when the kitchen gets TOO warm! Heating aside, I love the fact that this heater is so compact and easy to move (it's very light). I also wanted a heater that was quiet-- this is quiet.
Overall I am very pleased with this heater and would not hesitate to make additional purchases from Air & Water, Inc.
One minor issue... the only concern I had was the length of time it took to receive the product --- several weeks!

I like how the product works but I fear it is not big enough for the area I wanted it to cover!!! If I leave it plugged in for a long period of time it makes one of my smoke alarms beep. I think that is just a glitch in the electrical wiring. Overall I do like the product and satisfied with the price I paid.

We wanted an electric space heater that would circulate the air. We have vaulted ceilings and ceramic tile floors throughout our house so it is hard to heat evenly. Our Vornado electric space heater is performing well. It heats a large open living room-dining room with a vaulted ceiling nicely with a gentle even heat. We like how light and portable the Vornado space heater is. It is very compact and unobtrusive looking in the room. We would recommend the Vornado space heater. It is well worth the money. I have chemical sensitivities and some electric space heaters cause me to have a reaction. The Vornado doesn't give me any problems.
