Fine with one drawback.
The water does indeed seem softer which is great for my skin and colored hair. The drawback, at least with my particular shower, is that despite twirling the large shower head knob to different settings, water pressure is much less than with the old fitting. So this filtering device somehow slows the flow. If this were remedied, it would get 5 stars from e.
