This product was perfect for the application. My folks are not able to take a window unit in and out. This one allows them to use it when and where they want it. It ran during those hot humid days here in MA this summer, and due to the two hose system did not need to be emptied. It cooled off the 2nd floor of the house, and in turn kept the downstairs comfortable too. I think I made a great choice, and you have a great product!

I did have a little problem when I first started using my A/C. I am in a new apartment and I think I had the temp. set too low. My area has had an unusually hot and humid summer. The A/C has run 24/7 for weeks now and has been a tremendous aid in helping me breath as I have COPD. I like it!

Once I got familiar with how to run the controls, it has been great. I think I was trying to run it too cool in the beginning. I now leave it at 75 degrees. This has been a very hot and humid summer. My COPD had made it very difficult to breathe in the heavy air. I have left the AC running 24/7 and it keeps the air comfortable and the humidity down. I'm very happy with it!

This is our first portable air , we have seen them, and our son had a couple; we looked around the city for them, but no-one had the BTUs they we were looking for, so the next option was on line; we ended up on your site, the price was right, the btu's was right, we liked the style, and you guys had very good reviews !!! My wife loves it, we use in in our tv room next to the kitchen, and she is very satified with it, so far we are pleased with it.

I got the unit from my landlord since they decided not to let us use window units anymore. So I was not to happy about paying extra each month , plus I had never seen a unit that didn't go into window so I was not too open minded about the change. But so far it has surprised me, I like these features ( being able to see rooms current temp, being able to set it to turn on at a set time/ being able to have it turn off at a set time and the sleep settings. Cooling system is great I live in a studio so it cools it off quickly. I like being able to move unit if i have to, the fact there is no dripping outside window and landlord likes fact nothing big is sticking out my window, since unit has a very small flat thing that fits in window next to your window screen. The dual exhaust lets air in and filters out the hot as it cleans air). Now for what I don't like: wish units body was smaller and not so bulky, would of liked more flexible hose/ my be cloth, would like temp to be able to go lower than 61, and last but not least I'd like more choices in the colors of the units so I could match it to the color or theme of the room its going to be in(a woman's thing I guess). But over all I've had unit for almost two months and I happy oh yeah, it didn't raise up my electric by changing to this unit, will take a few more months to see if its going to stay the same or get even cheaper, but I'm happy that unit will not increase my bill. So I would suggest everyone using window units to give this model a try, it'll be worth it.

We currently use this product in our family room. Even though it is 14,000 btu, I feel that it does not produce enough cooling for my 400 sq ft family room. I like the dehumidifying part of the machine as well as the swinging louver that distributes the air.
