We are very happy with the ice maker. It works fast and now we always have ice when unexpected company drops in. We have run the machine several times and bag the ice. If we expect company we turn the machine on and don't have to worry about running out of ice. We have recommended the machine to several friends. They were amazed also at how fast it made ice. Our portable countertop ice maker was a gift from my cousin and her husband. We had no idea how much we needed this! It is fantastic. We are located in the mountains, several miles from the nearest store where we can purchase ice. This machine is magic! We love everything about it. Produces ice very fast. It's really easy to use. Only one thing that could be better is the sound the fan makes but after a while I got used to it. If you dont use the ice right away i would check it every hour to make sure its not full or out of water because it does shut itself off and the ice in it will melt. But overall it was worth every dime.

I am very pleased with this ice maker. I could not find one in the local stores, and did not feel comfortable ordering this type of product online. My ice maker came in 6 days, I plugged it in and added water. 6 minutes later ice was already being made. I need 5 lbs of ice a day for my wifes knee replacement cooling box. This makes that 5 lbs in about 3 hours, I can make enough for the whole week in one day and don't have to buy ice anymore. This machine will paid for it self in no time. This is an excellent, high quality ice maker for the money.

We were only able to get two batches of ice and the machince stopped producing.

We gave this icemaker as a gift. My brother and his wife really enjoy it. They make ice cubes for the neighbors and for church functions. I have a 32' boat with a small refrigerator. Ice was one thing on a boat that you constantly need. I have a generator onboard and with this ice maker, I have a constant supply of ice. I also use my Zero Water filter for the water that I put into this machine. The combination is fantastic. It produces quality ice every 6 or 7 minutes. Also very easy to drain the water holding tank. A must have for any boater 32' or above.

This machine will be full of the water to the limit and it'll make one to two drops and then it gives the red indicating that it is out of water when in fact it is'nt. then if you reset it it will do good for awhile and then after you refill it , it starts acting up again and again. It has a mind of its own. If it hadn't cost what it did I would of thrown it out all ready. Thank you

My husband seen it at a friends house who used it for his daily lunch cooler. He was very impressed and ask me to find one for him to use in filling his small water cooler to take with him in the hay fields. It is just the right size, very handy, and energy affordable. I love it for the extra ice needed when they all pile in here after they are finished in the hay fields.

We bought this unit for our church, and it has performed like a champ. We had a gathering of about 100 people, and this unit provided ALL the ice. We just kept it full of water, and bagging the ice every time it filled the bin. We are very pleased with this unit. Easy to operate and use. We ran it straight for about 3 days and zero issues!

My husband likes to entertain a lot, and would get stressed about having enough ice on hand, so when I saw this product I thought it was a must buy. He was a little skeptical when he first got it, like it was overkill or something, but has since come to appreciate its convenience and reliability. I do have to say that it is considerably heavier than I thought it would be given the "portable" description of it, but even so it IS portable--similar to one of those small fridges. The price is a bit high, so if it doesn't last a long time I'm not sure I'll replace it. Depends on how my husband feels! Overall I'm really happy I got it for him and I think he's happy with it and can relax about at least that one aspect of entertaining.

I loved it while it was working, but after a couple of months, it stopped. Very disappointing.

I just purchased this product. I really like the ice production. It's fast and abundant. However, this icemaker is much larger than my previous one (different brand) and does not fit on my kitchen counter (it's 1/2" too tall to fit under the cabinets). Also, the cooling fan is really noisy. The manufacturer could downsize the fan to a quieter one that will run whenever the comprressor is operating, rather than cycling on and off. We plan to take this with us when we camp in our trailer, as well, and are thinking we might have to put it outside the trailer so we can get some sleep, it's that loud. I give it a rating of 8 out of 10, at this point. I've only had it about 2 weeks, so long term performance is not known. I haven't had a portable machine last more than a year, so far.

I love my icemaker. We bought it to take camping. The ice maker went out in my refrigerator so we are using it in the house. It is easy to set up and works Great. I bought one for my son for his birthday. I had a friend see mine and they ordered one too. I love it and will buy another one when this one goes out. Customer service is excellent. I am using this Ice Maker in my motor home. It is the ideal product for ice when you need it. I am very happy with the way it works.

Works like a charm, just be sure to dump the ice periodically as it isn't a freezer but we already knew that. It makes more ice in 2 hours than we need for a day. Reliable, quiet - I don't where the complaints about noise came from. Just what we wanted and needed. I've bragged about it to anyone that will listen.

Two years ago I ordered 3 machines...2 of them have already quit working...in Aug. I ordered 2 more machines and have had to call on mine cause it is not working right...so will have to send it back...I really like this ice machine but I feel there are still a few problems that have to be worked out...this is not easy to ship back and forth....I love the size of the ice and when the machine is working, the time it takes to make ice...which when working is fast. I want to rate this machine the best but right now I'm not too happy as I have to send this machine back.

I found this product to do the job it was suppose to do when my ice maker went out in my refrigerator this product work great for my family's needs for ice. We live in a rural area in the summer so do not have an ice maker hooked up to our refrigerator/freezer since we blow out our plumbing to winterize our place. This machine gives us all the conveniences of an ice maker without the risk of breaking pipes.

This fine machine produces great tasting ice in sufficient quantities to more than meet the demands of us two aboard our Motor Home. No dragging ice from the store and saves that couple bucks per bag. I don't find the little noise objectionable, but would suggest the initial cleaning with some vinegar and lemon juice. Way to go!

We are very satisfied with our Portable Ice Maker. We do a lot of camping and traveling and we have found the ice maker to be a great aide in keeping our food cold. We went to the Outer Banks and carried the ice maker with us. We had instant ice constantly. The ice maker was a great choice for us. We had lots of people asking about it and wanted to know the pros and cons of owning an ice maker. We told them that it was one of our best investments. It fits easily in our pop-up camper while en-route to our destinations and is the first thing we set up when we get to the campground.

We ordered a machine and it did not work when we got it, but the company sent me out a xmlnsnt product immediately. I was very impressed with the service I got from the company. The machine makes awesome ice cubes and makes them fast. I would recommend the products from this company, because if you do have a problem, they are wonderful for the service they provide.

The only reason I did not give it the highest is the fact that I thought it would keep the ice frozen, in my application this is not a big deal but if you think this is a small freezer also, it is not.

We run a professional dog handling business and we travel every weekend showing dogs. Ice gets expensive especially when we were in Canada this summer. I purchased the Ice Maker for my 35ft boat. It works great, 3 sizes of ice, works off of my inverter so I don't even have to use the generator. Excellent machine.

Ordered this unit for camping, parties, and for hurricanes. I have only used it once since I received it and have had not issues to speak of. We tried the three different ice settings and things work perfectly. This unit is a little big, however the smaller units did not give the output I wanted. I would reccomend this product to anyone!

Used on 40 foot powerboat. Has small refer, but Ice is in ice chest in cockpit. Icemaker works well and supplies icecubes in cabin as well as topping-uip ice in chests. Works as advertised.

I really liked this ice maker. When I came home at the end of the day and cranked it up, it did take a couple of cycles to get full size cubes. Overall I really liked it. Customer service was GREAT. And didn't have the melting issue that some people report. Good little machine!

We purchased the ice maker because we are avid campers and were spending a fortune on bags of ice. With the ice maker we made several bags of ice before we went on our last camping trip. I have a friend that had shoulder surgery. His family was buying a big bag of ice each day so he could ice it down and was looking at having to do that for 6 weeks plus. EXPENSIVE! We have had this running constantly since we got it. I think it is quiet for an ice maker and it runs great. We have been keeping it busy for two week solid now.

The NewAir that I bought works great as in it produces a lot of ice within minutes and is something we bought to put in our trailer for camping the only problem is it makes a lot of noise and I don't mean motor noise we had another ice maker before and they just naturally make noise but this one squeals and sounds like the fan or bearings are getting stuck unfortunately we can't send it back now as its been to long. It still makes ice it just squeals real loud so not sure how long it will last but will definitely make sure I buy one at a store so if there is a problem I can just take it right back instead of being out 200.00 dollars.

It's quick. It's Easy. Though it turned out to be a little larger than I had pictured in my mind and was a little too tall to go underneath my upper kitchen cabinets, it does exactly what I needed.

Needs to have a water supply hook up too much of a pain to pour buckets of water in. It also runs out of space to store ice which shuts it down more than it makes ice which causes the ice to melt.

Bought unit to make drink ice when we go to our annual motorcycle get together. Before we left we ran it constantly for two weeks and it ran flawlessly. It is our only ice maker on our boat that we live aboard. We turn it on about 3 and turn it off about 8. Empty the tray and put it in the freezer if we need to. It is great. We have never run out of ice. We have 6 to 10 folks on board each night for happy hour. We hooked up a filter to the old water hose and made it so we can fill it right at the hole where it sets.

We sure are satisfied with our ice maker. We live in a remote area and buying bags of ice each time we went to town, which were 1/2 melted by the time we got them home, was expensive and a pain! Plus we would eventually run out. Now we have all the ice we need and the ice maker does not seem to use much electricity as we are on solar and wind power.

After comparing several different ice makers and reading the reviews I chose this model and I am sssssooooooooo glad I did. This little jewel has been making ice everyday since it arrived and I love it. It produces a batch of large size cubes every 12 minutes if used indoors. No more buying bagged ice for me, now I can bag my own and will always have some ready for whenever I need it!

We have a very small refrig and freezer and having the ice machine is great. It is not real loud and gets the job done in a good amount of time. It is a little heavy to pick up and empty if there is excess water in the bottom when you are done using it. But other then that it is a great addition to our little house on the water. I have recommended it to others, and will continue to do so.

Produced ice quickly. Had to change size to large. First batches were pretty soft and had to freeze on cookie \sheets. I think it will fit our needs.

Before I wrote a review on this product. I want to test it out for a good year. It has been just over a year, and I couldn't be more pleased with this product. It lived up to its name and beyond. I use it every day in the summer time, if there is any complaint that I have about to it. It is a little difficult to clean.

Like it...works well. Lid needs to open just past 90 degrees so it doesn't flop back down. Also when it shows low on water, you can't put a gallon in or it covers ice basket bottom!

The temperature here is in the 100's most of the summer. Living in an RV we had to go to town every day to get ice. Now we have ice whenever we want it. Quickly makes ice and we can either leave it in the unit or fill plastic bags and put it a freezer. The unit doesn't keep it frozen but it will melt back down into the water unit and make more ice. The machine will tell us when the ice hopper is full or when we need to add more water and it just makes our lives so much easier.

I have only had my ice maker for a few weeks but so far I like it. Makes ice quickly & I have several bags ready for my cooler once the warm weather hits. I plan to take it to the lake-we use a lot of ice there.

I bought the NewAir AI-200w Portable Counter top Ice Maker at the beginning of last summer (2009) and it has been working flawlessly everyday since then. It's rather heavy but frankly I like that, it assures me the construction is substantial, it's not going to slide around on a smooth surface and the unit is meant to last. Still, I can pick it up and place it next to the sink for easy cleaning which is recommended every few months for sanitary purposes. There is a little water tight nozzle on its side at the bottom to drain any water inside and makes it very easy to clean. You're going to hear the muffled sound of the ice cubes falling into its basket which doesn't bother me, my refrigerator makes sounds, my dishwasher and coffee maker makes sounds, but I'm aware that some people just can't be pleased. Speaking of ice cubes; it gives you the choice of three different sizes! I would recommend this item to anyone who wants a continuous extra supply of ice especially during the summer months and appreciates good craftsmanship and beauty of design.

We received our ice maker in less than a week. It is wonderful. Two of our friends already purchased one too. It made ice faster than the instructions. Very easy, my husband could even do it.

I use my ice maker for every day use. It is great to go and lift the lid and get ice cubes. The different sizes are nice I mainly use the medium but the smaller if I want to make crushed and the larger if I want them to last longer. The only complaint is that I ordered the maintenance plan and have received nothing saying that I have it.

This was a great buy and I am buying another one for some friends. Perfect for occasional or constant use - doesn't matter. I use this all the time and I've had a lot of compliments and questions about it - everyone who sees it and sees me use it thinks it's great and many are also buying the same or similar units for their homes.

Great for making ice, however due to the fact it does not keep the ice cold; the unit must be constantly monitored. If you forget for an hour or more, you generally end up with a large chunk of melted together ice and must start over. If you are there to monitor the unit, it does an outstanding job of making ice quickly. All in all I am satisfied with the purchase.

Having to use distilled water can make ice a rare commodity. This unit supplies all we need in a day and does it while still sitting idle most of the time. It's an ice maker, not a refridgerator, so transfer the ice to a real freezer when the basket fills. Easy to use, easy to clean.

I love the machine a lot it does the job. I just wish I would not have lost that tiny plug. It's so great here in the hot weather of Las Vegas, my fridge could never keep up when I had company. We use the icemaker pretty much every day through the hot days in Texas, which is about 9 months a year, without any troubles so far. It makes ice very fast and keeps us with an extra supply at all times when we run out from the fridge. We have also taking it to family get together during the holidays and a lot of people have made comments about how nice it would be to have one too.

It worked, slowly. It took a couple of hours for it to make ice from a full supply of water. Even longer if you weren't paying attention so you could dump the ice tray when full. Because it doesn't provide any refrigeration the ice cubes melt slightly before transferring them to the freezer so when they refreeze they clump together. It did however convince my husband to spring for the repair bill for our old icemaker in the freezer.

Brought ice machine camping and worked great. Never had to worry about running out of ice. Always make ice night before for trips etc...and great for parties.

We purchased the AI-200@ Portable Countertop Ice Make for use at our family operated motel in Ashton, Idaho. We have mini refrigerators in all our units and cabins and rather deal with ice trays; we have a plastic container in each freezer section with ice make in the AI-200W. The machine operates easily and quickly. We have had no problems with it.

I sent the ice maker to my son and his family in the Philippine Islands. They have no electricity on a reliable schedule so they have a generator. No electric ice box or freezer. The ice maker allows them to make ice then put it into an insulated box and keep food somewhat cool until they eat it. They say that it is a fantastic machine that enhances their life style. Plus the bonus of not having any mechanical problems.

This machine is ok, but it's not what I was thinking it was. I thought the ice stayed frozen in the machine. The ice to so wet, you cannot freeze it....it's a mess, I hardly ever use it.......bad purchase.........sorry folks, I'm being honest.

The NewAir AI-200w arrived in a well packed carton . The icemaker does make cubes but you need to stick around and monitor the machines progress The storage area where the finished cubes drop into is not insulated and in the warm weather the cubes will melt You will avoid mold and foul tasting ice, if after you finish making the desired amount of cubes, you thoroughly drain out and dry any lingering water that maybe left. Pretty good machine for making ice ..Start a day ahead to insure a decent quantity.

We are a small department of 19 employees and we use the ice machine 24/7. This is the company's second machine and would be lost with out it. The best thing is you can adjust the ice cube size and don't have to worry about not having ice at anytime. I really have no negative comments to say.
