gets the job done i received my ice maker within a few days of ordering. i had a few minor issues since i bought a refurbished machine ( i did not receive a manual or the ice basket) . the customer service team both on the phone and thru email were very helpful and sent the missing items to me within days. i love my ice machine and the customer service i had was exceptional April 17, 2012

This ice maker is very easy to use. I purchased this product from Air-n-water, 14 September and it was delivered as promised 20 September. I am a very small person so getting it out of the box was difficult for me. It was well packed, which was good, as there was no damage to the ice maker in shipping. The next problem was getting the plastic wrap off the unit. Those were the only difficulties. The ice maker is very simple to set up and use, and not heavy once out of the box. All one has to do is plug it in, add water, and select the cube size. I chose the small size cubes for the first batch. I was not impressed, too small. The second batch of medium cubes worked ok and tasted somewhat like plastic. The third batch of large cubes worked perfectly for my needs. I just need a small amount of ice for use during the day for tea. I don't think I would recommend this size ice maker for people who entertain even a small number of people as it doesn't make a lot of ice at once. Ice for one or two people, yes, this is a good buy.
