I have an outbuilding on my property, about 12'x18', which is used as a hang-out for watching TV, enjoying cigars, playing poker with friends, etc.... I had been heating the space with a forced air electric tower space heater that died, most likely from being overworked. Because of the harsh winter (even down here in the South), I came to find out that there wasn't an electric heater to be found in any retail store within a 100 miles. I haven't had this heater very long and we had a couple weeks of fair weather so I can't say how energy efficient it is but it seems to do the trick in my office which is about 400 square feet. It heats up slow but once it gets the room warm, it keeps it warm. I would definately recommend it to a friend. The shipping was super fast. I had it in just a few days.

This heater is great, stylish, compact, yet packs a powerful heat source, perfect for our family room in basement, as well as our guest bedroom, also in basement, not only takes the chill off, but makes room nice and cozy. Saw this item at a friend's house and thought they were pretty neat .... when my furnace went out (and it was going to cost $5,000 + to replace :( .... not cool) I bought one to use and after a week, purchased another one .... and am thinking of getting one more for the family room! They were both delivered normal mail and arrived in less than four days ..... and it was even busy holiday delivery-time! That was impressive in itself! :)
The only thing I see with this product that MAY cause an issue is if a person has young children around, they may want to make sure a child cannot get close to / touch as they are a weeeeeeee bit warm ....... my dog, on the other hand, LOVES laying next to it and getting the warmth! :)

Air and Water was very prompt with delivery. Received the unit in just days. Unit is quiet and works very well although the programmable thermostat is truly not programmable. More like a simple start delay which is helpful but not as useful as a true programmable thermostat. Good product though!

The heater quietly and efficiently warms our living room. However, after a few weeks of intermittent use, still emits fumes, which burn my nose and throat. I like the radiator appearance, and it's much more efficient and less toxic than the Costco heater I had to return. I hope the fumes disappear soon.

I purchased the NewAir heater to add some additional heat to my kitchen during the coldest days/nights. I purchased this heater b/c of its listed high efficiency. The heater gave off consistent heat. I used the heater on the low setting and it did perform to my expectations. However, I am no longer using the heater after receiving my power bill. In the one month billing cycle during which I started using this heater, my bill increased $57.39.

Esthetics, Compact, efficient....I use it in the country home in Puerto Rico were the temperature dropped in winter as low as 48 dg F. Because of the high humidity I keep it on for longer periods of time so closets and clothing don't get moldy. In a one to ten scale, ten being the highest I would give it a ten.

I purchased the Ah-450 space heater when the weatherman predicted four to five days of sub-zero temps. I wanted something to add some additional warmth without spending an excessive amount in additional utilities. This heater was listed as being energy efficient which was one of the primary reasons for choosing it. So far, it has worked wonderfully and I have noticed that my furnace does not start up quite as often. I have not received my first power bill yet, so I cannot comment on the energy cost yet.

We keep our central heating thermostat turned way down overnight so getting the bathroom warm for my early morning shower has been a problem. Now I turn my NewAir AH-450 on high when I get up, and, by the time I've finished my morning workout, I'm no longer shivering in the shower. The unit is compact and easy to move around, but for right now it fits perfectly in the corner of the bathroom.

We bought this radiator heater for my granddaughters room (a large room) that was the coldest in the house. Florida. As well as the rest of the nation, has experience colder than normal temps and made the room uncomfortable when getting up in the morning and doing homework at night. Since she got the heater just prior to Christmas she loves it as the room is warm and she says she sleeps better at night (she likes it warm). I believe it is a great investment and definitely works.

In response to the survey request I can truly say the buying is easy, the shipping is fast, and so far the product works. I purchased the oil heater for my grandaughters room as her house has one major cold spot--her room. December 2010 has been cold in Florida and since she is in HighSchool she has to get up early and the heat is not on long enough--Now with the timer the room does heat up so she is not cold and is ready to leave warm.
