We bought the NewAir AH410 unit to replace an electric heater that really wasn't safe near blankets, and would trip the circuit breaker. The NewAir is a 100% improvement. It gets hot enough to warm a small bedroom, but there's no danger from fire. And, it does the job with half the power consumption. It's constructed with quality and I would strongly recommend it to those who need a portable, safe, and effective heater.
