I bought this to warm up the space under the desk in my home office. It is just what I needed to keep my feet and legs warm without cranking up the heat in the whole house.

When I first got the heater I plugged it in and noticed that the power light did not turn on, but figured it might be how it was designed. After about an hour of letting it sit to warm up on max I could barely feel the heat. So I let it go over night and couldn't even feel the heat from 2 feet away. I bought this to heat up a small bathroom and couldn't even tell the difference from when I didn't have the heater. Very disappointed. The power light still never came on nor did the caution light. Doesn't seem very safe without it.

Just what I expected! Meets my expectations perfectly. Compared to other space heaters (1000 - 1500 W) it works with 400 W - consumes way less energy. I use it in the "bonus room" that is above the garage and always a couple degrees colder that all the other rooms. The heater is small, noiseless, heats up fast and warms up the whole room in a couple hours. I placed it in front of the window, so it keeps away the cold from coming in. The leg broke after 2 days of use.
It would be great under a desk to keep your feet warm.

The electrict heater uses the same amount of electricity as two overhead light fixtures. When the thormostate is on high the unit puts out a surprising amount of heat. The controls work well. I use the heater by my bed to take the chill off in the mornings before I get up. It is well constructed and easy to move about. This is an excellent small heater for small spaces.

I got this heater for the bedroom, I live off-grid with solar power and don't want to deplete my batteries at night and also not use propane for heating as that is so expensive. This little heater does a good job, it does not make the room toasty, but comfortable and it does not depleate the batteries too bad. they list this has a 40 sf area that it will heat, but im telling you they will heat up to 150 sf area no problem. if you look into what the power usage is these bad boys only use 400 Watts that is noting compared to other heaters in the industry, if you want to have a reality check...turn off as much power in your house as possible...go watch your power meter spin. then while watching the meter have someone turn this hear on..it does not make a difference at all,,,it would take 4 of these to make one Eden pure heater....

This afforably priced little heater looks like the modern slim-line radiators you encounter in Europe. It is great for small rooms (up to 150 square feet) and tight spaces. Like other oil filled radiators it is slient and less drying than fan forced heaters. Unlike other oil filled radiators it is small, wafer thin, and stylish. Also at 400 watts it is also extremely energy efficient. The thermostat could be a bit more accurate but otherwise the unit is well constructed. I hope to see similar thin radiators for larger spaces in the future. For now two of these will still save you energy $ over most other space heaters.

This little heater heats up my cube at work perfectly. The only drawbacks are (as other reviews said) that the feet are a little wobbly, and if you keep it under your desk (as I do) it's pretty easy to singe your shoe or your toes if you're not careful. Other than that, the adjustable heat setting is great and you really start to feel warm in no time.

This unit is ideal for keeping me warm in my drafty office. I keep it under my desk in front of my legs. The moderate heat output coupled with a sensitive thermostat and oil filled radiator do the job. This unit uses 1/4th the power of a standard plug in heater. No worries about tripped breakers and overheated space.
Most heaters produce too much heat. That creates hot spots and discomfort when used as a personal heater. The AH-400 unit has no such drawbacks. If you need under desk heat, buy the AH-400. Larger wattage heaters will only make you uncomfortable (and may burn your legs).

After searching since the summer for personal heaters with energy saving features I finally found this heater. I have a staff of 5 that are always cold and would run their personal heaters that continually blew our fuses. They were not happy to give up the other heater inititally until they tried this one. The heat is direct and radiates around them they were amazed how it keeps them warm. Bonus for me the supervisor, I have a quiet office again since these heaters do not blow out air. The other heaters sounded like a windstorm. Happy employees make better employees.

Very satisfied with this product. It heats my medium sized bath area well. It is totally quiet except when it clicks to adjust thermostat. This was noisier when new, but seems to have become less noticeable. The only other negatives are the feet feel like they will snap off if you put any pressure on them; and it can only be moved when cooled off with the small, corner handle. The only negatives I have is that if you lower the thermostat it makes a loud "click" noise when going off; also, the feet are wobbly and I find it awkward picking up with 1 little handle. From a strictly functional point of view this heater is great. It is absolutely silent and emits the expected amount of heat. However the two plastic feet are almost a joke. The do not mount the heater in a stable manner and actually allow it to tilt. I found my heater tipped over after one of the feet had somehow broken. Fortunately the safety feature did work and the heater automatically turned off. Now I must fabricate some better feet.

I use this product to heat a small area of my apartment where my two year old son sleeps. We share a room where we put up a foam wall and door to his area so they are like two separate rooms and there is no heating vent in there. I needed a low wattage heating source. It is working O.K. This is a nice little heater and keeps the area cozily warm.
It is easy to move around and doesn't get too hot. I noticed that some buyers complain about the metal feet needing improvement. They do seem wobbly if not anchored correctly. However, if they look inside the slots of each foot, they will see that one side in each slot is angled and the two parts of the heater that slide into the slots are narrow on one side. If they line up the narrow piece with the angled side of the foot, they fit together perfectly
And the heater sits firmly on the floor. Directions should point this out.

We bought the AH-400 to replace a Honeywell 1200W heater in our kids bedroom that was big, needed a lot of clear space and was always only on the lowest 1 bar setting anyway.
The AH-400 is small and flat so it can go closer to the wall and be much less visible but still be safe. However, it doesn't appear to give out as much heat at the Honeywell on 1-bar even though the power is comparable between the two. Still satisfied though as it's still enough heat for the bedroom.

Most portable heaters, even when set to their lowest setting, still use 750 to 1000 watts when they're on. That's more heat than is needed for really small rooms or to just want to warm a small area like under a desk or keep an area above freezing. Nearly all other heaters are also more likely to overload electrical circuits that already have lots of other things on them. This heater uses only 400 watts which is perfect for the above applications. It's also nearly silent and takes up very little space (again making it perfect for under a desk). I have several and none have failed yet.

Really heats well for 3 amps, very efficient. I use one at my desk at work and have two home. I use one at home in my master bath which was always cold but if I put the heater in the bathroom its toasty in the morning then I turn it off until I go to bed the next night, I use the other to warm up a spare bedroom and its much more economical then heating it all the time, I just turn it on when needed and it knocks the chill off.

Even set to max, it takes forever to start feeling heat from this unit. Even after a few hours, when you're sitting two feet away, you're not very hot. I will be keeping it, I think, because it is virtually silent with no moving parts. You just hear the electricity surging through if you listen real close. The cord is generously long and I feel safe using this unit in my bedroom on the carpet or on the hardwood floor. I haven't run into it yet and got burned, but I don't think it is going to catch anything on fire unless something falls on it and sits that you are unaware of.

You simply cannot find a better space heater that uses this small amount of energy. The wire does not even get warm if left on high all day. I bought some of these at work for use in cold drafty areas and they worked so well I bought a couple for my house. Forget them 1500 watt so called energy saving heaters; 1500 watts is still 1500 watts, these little 400 watt heaters do the trick at 1/3 the cost.

I needed a low-wattage space heater for my office, and this one appeared to fit the bill. It's great - it doesn't trip the breaker in my office, and it provides the perfect amount of heat. I keep it under my desk, where the heat also tends to be somewhat contained and even more efficient. Sleek product - slim, nice neutral color, and easily movable. I highly recommend this product. I'm not sure it will do the trick for people looking to heat an entire room, but for small space heating, it's perfect.

The AH-400 has no fans. So it is quiet! Max 400W of power is perfect. Most other heaters often exceed 1000W. It is performing as advertised. It keeps my legs warm underneath my desk. It looks very well made with good materials.
