Question:
do you have to have a window near by for exhaust?
- Anonymous on 2014-05-02
Answer:
No window needed. This cools by blowing air through water like the misters at amusement parks. This unit is best used in climates that are very hot and dry as it does add humidity to the room you are cooling.
- Keith S. on 2014-05-02
Answer:
No.
- Stephen S. on 2014-05-02
Answer:
No it's not required.
- Kevin W. on 2014-05-02
Answer:
no
- Patty Y. on 2014-05-02
Answer:
No you do not need to exhaust this cooler but it is good to have a couple of windows cracked for air circulation.
- Dennis M. on 2014-05-02
Answer:
No , it works great anywhere in the house with the windows open for exhaust , no need to have close the open window.
- LAN M. on 2014-05-02
Answer:
I keep it near an open window to draw in fresh air and often (but not always) another window open across the room. I don't think you have to but what can happen sometimes is the room will start to feel humid if there is no place for the air to go.
- Donna B. on 2014-05-05

- Elizabeth L. on 2014-05-20
Answer:
I don't know. I have only used it 5 or 6 times. Works best with ice
- Scott T. on 2014-05-20
Answer:
Yes. They can be rinsed with water and reused, even the honeycomb filter. Mine came with extra filters but I have not had to use them yet.
- Alison G. on 2014-06-11
Question:
I received the unit, the comb filter was in with a foam thing stuck to it and there are 2 separate grey foams in plastic, not sure where they go, I am assuming they are supposed to be going over the honeycomb filter , but they are different so which one goes on the outside and which on the inside? Very bad provided directions.
- ladan s. on 2015-03-18
Answer:
Hello, I apologize the directions were not very clear. I will see if the manual can be updated for future products. The two "grey foam pieces" are actually filters for the unit. They do go over the Honeycomb filter and I would recommend putting the filter that looks more black last but the order that they are placed is not critical, so you can place them in any order you would like. Let me know if you need anything else.
