The small air compressor cooling my apartment does not provide adequate relief, so I wanted an additional source of cool air for the hot Texas summer. Needed some cooling, but didn't want to spend a lot. This did fit the bill. Even with little to no humidity, this really doesn't do anything more than a fan. It was supposed to be a swamp cooler (said the description), so I purchased 2. You can fill it with water and add an ice pack. It makes no difference what so ever in the cooling. It does move air and it has an ionizer. It was an expensive lesson for a fan, but shipping was free and fast. Good company to order from.

I hate being warm. Have lots of box, pedestal fans and a portable a/c unit. Like the idea of using water and ice to cool - less electricity. Always room for more fans! They are very attractive and do not take up a lot of space. Also, they are light weight making them easy for me to move. They are attractive and so far are working well. They cover a lot of space for their size and the cool setting works very well with water and the ice packs.
