I have yet to balance out the energy saver mode vs the normal mode. I thought that energy saver meant the item itself works as stated, however once you read the maunual it says that hot water is boiling hot until it is put on normal mode. This was not included in the description so I am still debating if i like this model. However, the water is really cold and the hot water is hot once i turn it to hot, but the energy saver mode does not do justice when I try to make hot tea. Overall the item is great and does what it is supposed to! Also I washed it out twice following the instructions so I do not have a weird after taste of metal or plastic, etc that some may experience when first using the machine.

I have had the Avanti WDP75 for about 2 weeks now and it seems to work great. Water flow coming out is good. Hot water is very hot and cold water is nice and cold. The only down side is that you have to take the top of the bottle or push the little plunger in before loading. Your have to be careful or you will spill water every where.

We'd had a water cooler for 10 years, counter top, and it finally went out on us. I really did some checking around and finally decided on the Avanti Water Cooler Dispenser with the refrigerator. Well, we love it. It has a light for at night, keeps the water cool, we can save electricity on the hot water tap and we especially like the refrigerator. I drink energy drinks and the Avanti Water Cooler holds nine large cans in the fridge department. What's not to like about it? I'm glad I took my time and checked out all the different models. The price of the product was really good. I shopped for water coolers and this price even beat out walmart. It was worked great no real issues. The only thing that I do not like and I hope resolves itself is the taste of plastic when the water runs through the cooler. Yuck.

I love my recent water cooler purchase. My wife and I use it everyday here in El Paso where it can get pretty warm. Not only that but El Paso water is horrible so I really had no choice but to break down and buy a water cooler. So far so good, no complaints. I love how cold the water gets every time I fill my cup up. The locking hot water feature is nice if you have kids but since I do not it just gets in the way. The hot water does come out hot enough to make a cup of tea with, which is what I use the hot side for in the fist place. The night light is a cool feature and I do enjoy it for those late night water downers. Overall, I love my water cooler and couldn't be anymore happier with my investment.

Well, first things first, I took a great deal of time in reviewing all of the different brand names and different types of water coolers. It was very important that there were many safety features on this product, as my 2 year old grandchildren (twins) would be around this cooler w/ both hot and cold dispensers!! Not only does this dispenser have a special safety feature on the front of the cooler but also on the back of the cooler you can turn off access to the hot water when necessary. That's what sold me on this one particularly. Safety first then I liked the look of this model and the storage under it. All in all this is a very functional product and on a scale from 1-10 I'd rate this a 10!!!

This product was purchased as a water cooler in the main office at a high school for staff use. All have said that the machine looks good. All like the idea of having hot water on demand.
