Avanti WD31EC Water Dispenser

We bought this for a Christmas gift for a small business owner that had a cooler and it finally quit working. We gave this to her and she has been thrilled with it! Perfect size for her small office space and it works like a charm. We shopped all over online for one that not only had a decent price, but good reviews. Glad we found this one. Shipping was fast too.

This water cooler is missing one important feature to me, and that is the thing that punches the water bottle cap out so you don't spill water everywhere. You must take the cap off your water bottle before placing it on the cooler. I replaced a Vitapur countertop water cooler with this one, and for the few dollars more, I would buy the Vitapur again if I had it to do over. Hopefully I will get better at putting the water bottle on without all the spillage. Other than that one issue, the water cooler/heater works well. Easy to set up and install. Is very lightweight and hopefully durable. If I had known it would not punch through the cap, however, it would have been a dealbreaker.

Have a full size water cooler unit in my home that is used to disperse water I distill. It has spoiled me being able to have hot tea or a frosty drink at my finger tips. I'm remodeling an old 14 ft trailer for fishing and camping. The Avanti counter top hot and cold water dispenser was exactly what I was looking for. Did some comparison and your price, rating and easy to use website was the reason I'm here. I'm powering the unit using solar and an inverter and am delighted with it's performance.

Once we read the directions and figured out that you have to turn on the Hot and cold water switch on the back of the machine, we loved the cooler. While it is not meant to be used in a large office, it is great for our small office of 5 people. It saves energy by not heating the water 24/ 7 like some of the other coolers. For the price it is a great investment. We were paying $15 a month rental so in 6 months the cooler will pay for it self.

My family drink a lot of water. We have been through three water coolers in less than three years that were purchased from home depot. In fact, these coolers cost twice the amount i paid for my new cooler. Most coolers take up too much space. Our kitchen is so small. We have limited space to work with. This machine look so nice in my kitchen. Although the water is not ice cold, it's cold enough, and the price is within my budget. Not only does it get the job done, i can afford another one without hesitation if it last less than two years. So far i really like it, and it doesn't look out of place in my tiny kitchen like some of the other coolers I've purchased. Most of all...its light weight, and it's worth trying.

gave this water cooler to my son for christmas as he is an avid exerciser. it was shipped very quickly which was impressive since the christmas mailing push had begun. he and i were ex tremely pleased with its portability, ease of use and the waters temperature. amazing how the water can go from refreshing cold to hot enuf to make coffee. the only thing my son would change is making the cold water come out faster. he s a gulper! but for how great it is and how affordable it is, i would recommend and buy it from you again

I'm very pleased with this product. It has all the functions I was looking for. Quality is good, easy to use, and with great price. Not only do they carry excellent performance but also look more valuable than their price.

This product is not your top-of-the-line 5-billion-dollar model. It is however economically priced and decently constructed. A few cosmetic defects (sticker on water catch tray skewed and peeling, LED display skewed a bit), but everything functions as it should. Easy to use, water hot enough for coffee/tea, cold enough too. Perfect for our needs.

This water dispenser works good. i like warm water in the early morning and before i go to bed. Only problem is the water stream is too little. you need to hold on the dispense button for a minute to have full cup of water.

After the first unit was returned due to electronic problems the second is working very good, thank you.

Our Avanti water cooler relaced a free standing water cooler that lost it's cooling ability. We have a spice cabinet that this water cooler fits on top of very nicely, thus taking up less room than the two seperate items took. The Avanti water cooler does not cool the water as much as our previous cooler did, but is still acceptable. The hot water feature is great. We are very pleased with our purchace and its price.

We like this portable water dispenser. Doesn't take up that much room. The only thing the water doesn't really get that Hot. Other wise its great.

This machine was a fantastic value, and the perfect size for my office. The setup was well documented and went easily and quickly. Now hopefully, the machine will have a long life! Hopefully, the fact that it has a thermostat that keeps it from working too hard (too hot or cold) unless you push a button to turn up heat or lower temp further, should keep it from wearing out soon. It is however mostly plastic, so "we'll see"

This product fits us perfectly. goes on top of our counter, has hot water for my tea every morning, fast and cold water when every I want. Also energy saving, because the hot water only heats when I want it, not all the time. Its great for us. thanks

I have this system just by the side of my bed.Instead of keeping a bottle of water very close to me I have the system with a 5 gl of water ready to drink and cold always and no water spilling on the floor.This is easy and fantastic and I recommend to friends and familys it is wonderful and nice and with hot water you can have a cup of coffee anytime,and it has a child safety lock to protect the children.

We have been using the Avanti water dispenser for about a month, have had lots of company and we all were very satisfied with the product. Great for a quick cup of hot chocolate, tea etc and really refreshing source of a cold glass of water. I'm very happy with our decision to get the Avanti dispenser. I especially like the size and convenience of both hot & cold water..

This is a perfect cooler for bar. It is small but fits a large bottle of water. Very pleased

I enjoyed using Avanti water cooler dispenser because it's so convenient when you want to cold drink of water. We keep it in our lower level so we can get a quick drink when we're watching tv. Easy to use is what makes this product great. Cuts down on using water bottles.

Pro, the small compact size make the water cooler fit nicely on the countertop. The cold water has two settings cold and coldest which is great. The only con is that the machine does not take larger water bottles as the opening is smaller than the standard refill bottle. We ordered a small water bottle online and refill it with filtered water.

I bought this dispenser because it was the most affordable hot/warm/cold dispenser and is a countertop which makes it easier to move from one place to another. When I first used it the water wasn't cold at all but after reading the instructions (duh) I found out that there were on/off switches in the back to turn on the hot/cold functions. After waiting approximately 10-15 minutes the water was cold and it stayed cold ever since. It was a while before I attempted to try the hot water and the first time I did, it was only warm. After pressing the "Hot Water" button on the front control panel the "Hot Water" light came on which meant the heating element was heating the water. It only took a couple of minutes and the light went off. I again tested it and it was perfectly hot enough for instant coffee, hot chocolate, or instant soup. The warm water is great if you want to make instant hot chocolate or something for a child and don't want it to be too hot for them. It also has a safety feature for the hot so that toddlers won't burn themselves if they are playing with the dispenser unattended, but I still recommend keeping the dispenser up and out of reach of them since they like to watch the water pour out and can make a mess all over the floor. I wonder if those reviews about water leaking have such curious children or if they simply had a bad unit. It has an energy saver function to save electricity so it's very economical. If there was one thing I would change about this unit it's the amount of space you have underneath to pour the water into. Since it is a small dispenser, it is a little challenging, although still possible, to refill my water bottles. I just have to hold it at an angle. Overall I'm well pleased with my purchase.

What a great compact water cooler. Fits great on a stand I have and not too bulky and big that's an eye catcher. Love the hot cold idea!!

The water cooler works well on hot and cold and there is ample room for a larger cup.

My wife and I use our cooler in the kitchen. I had to send the first model back as it dispensed very slow. I was promptly sent a new one and prepaid labels to return the defective model, so good points for customer service. The new one is better, not great. It is still kind of slow, but suites the needs of two people.

The unit, after going through 10 gallons of water had a medicinal taste. We used 2 major bottle water companies just to verify our findings. It was returned to the distributor and received a prompt credit for purchase.

I use this water cooler on my kitchen counter, I love having the hot water ready for a cup of tea. I wish the water would come out a little faster. There was a strange taste to the water for the 1st couple of weeks. That has gone away with use. I did have to return two coolers before I got one that worked.

I have a small hair salon, but still wanted to provide my clients with a choice of water or a hot beverage. This is perfect size that does not take up to much room. I have it sitting on a small cupboard with drawers so that I can have a place to store cups, coffee, hot chocolate, and teas, etc. I would highly recommend this size if you didn't want a tall one sitting on the floor. The only downfall is when you replace the water in the bottle, it's hard to put it back without spilling some water.

Pros: Looks good; Good price; Quick shipping. Cons: SLOW dispensing; Feels cheap; Almost too small, hard to put anything but a small cup under the dispenser. I used to refill bottles with my old cooler, this one is not so easy to do that with. I bought this then had to leave town for work. Now that I'm back I am considering sending it back.

I love the temperature of the water and the convenience of the hot water if I want a quick cup of hot tea. I do not like the fact that the water stream is so small when it comes out. It takes my kids a long time to fill a glass. Also, you can't use a very big glass because it won't fit under the water spout. If I had to do it over again, I would get a stand alone cooler to free up counter space and also so we could fill water bottles as we play a lot of sports. Even though the hot water is convenient, I would get a cooler that is strictly cold and just microwave it to get the hot.

I purchased this product in the hopes of getting rid of my Culligan dispenser which only offers cold and luke warm water. The Avanti dispenser is great for hot water but the cold water never comes out ice cold the way I like it. I will be sending this back and trying another product.

We really enjoy the fact that this unit is an energy saver. We only activate the hot water when we want a cup of hot tea or want to warm up coffee. You can turn on and in 3 to 4 minutes you have hot water. It's great.

This little cooler & hot water dispenser is perfect for my small counseling practice waiting room. It doesn't take up much space and heats/cools enough water for one or two clients each hour. The small bottle is light enough for me to pick up and refill at a local water store without the high cost of paying for a service. I'm very happy with my purchase!

I work in the nurse's office at our high school, and I wanted a countertop water dispenser. This product is perfect for our needs in the health office. It looks great on the counter, is easy for us all to use, heats and cools water in a reasonable amount of time in between uses. We have both 3 gallon and 5 gallon water bottles and they work equally well on this unit. Great product! We love it!

Air and Water could not provide a different water cooler that was out of stock. They went to great lengths to keep me informed of the restocking status on a very frequent basis. When it became apparent that their supplier was not going to be able to restock, Air and Water suggested this water cooler as an alternative. They adjusted the price downward so that I didn't have to pay more than I had planned. They went so far as to physically check their warehouse to make sure that the alternative was in stock.
