The water condenses on the cooling coils and usually is used to cool down the internal parts of the unit and is also use to further cool down the coils. eventually though the water needs to be removed from the unit and in other air conditioning units you would need to empty a bucket of water for it to continue to work, not with the WA-1300H. The evaporative technology automatically exhausts the water into the outgoing airflow so that there is no bucket of water to empty nor do you need to add a water drainage tube to the back of the unit.
