Description
The Vornado Model 40 Room Humidifier vertical Vortex Action evenly distributes soft, moist air throughout a room with a spiraling beam of air. This vertical Vortex Action also recovers heat from the ceiling creating a more even temperature in a room. Harsh, dry air is pulled into the humidifier through the side inlet grill and passes through the filter wick. The moist air is released into the room through the top grill.
An evaporative type of humidifier , the Vornado Model 40 Home humidifier means that water is dispensed from a storage vessel into a chamber where the water is drawn up into a cellulose wicking filter. A fan pulls air through the filter wick evaporating the water into an invisible vapor that is dispersed into the room. The filter wick traps minerals and other water-borne contaminants, distributing clean, healthy moisture evenly throughout a room. Unlike warm mist boilers, Vornado's self-regulating evaporative technology cannot over-humidify and costs less to operate and maintain.
