Home builder placed upstairs thermostat in attic area creating wild fluctuations in temperature in master bedroom on 2nd floor. The Honeywell T8665 was used to remote furnace control to the master bedroom creating a significantly more uniform environment. The quality of the unit is excellent -- typical of Honeywell thermostat products. Since the unit replaced a 4-wire controller, it was necessary to add an additional ground wire (using unused wire in harness to controller) to provide power to the radio frequency circuitry in the fixed control assembly. Cost savings are very measurable and wife is much happier! Great product.
