Question:
Why did you buy this item?
Answer:
Good reviews, pricing and free shipping option. After having it for a year it works well but is noisy but most of them are.
- Graham M. on 05-18-2014
Answer:
I live in the southwest desert where there is no humidity most of the summer, so evaporative cooling works quite well. On a 100+ day, the output is in the 70s. I bought two. I use them in the garage mostly. They are the perfect height to place in front of the baggage door behind the wing, (Bonanza) for working inside the plane or pre-cooling before flight. I put a hose connection and toilet valve on it for a constant water supply instead of having to monitor water level. Easy to move around.

Question:
how to fill water????
- deveenath on 2014-03-30
Answer:
I used pitchers of water, or my hose. it was a pain!
- Karen D. on 2014-03-31
Answer:
There is a flip down door on the front below the fan (not visible in this picture) that you pour the water in through. It is not real wide and easiest to use a pitcher or large measuring cup to fill with.
- Bruce D. on 2014-03-31
Answer:
Open the hatch beneath the slats on the front and pour it in the reservoir.
- Monica M. on 2014-03-31
Answer:
1 garden hose, one shut off valve, one three ft length of hose and a good flashlight. I use a garden hose connected to a facet, Place a shutoff valve at end of hose then add a 3ft length of hose to the garden hose. shut off the valve and turn on water at facet. open door on front for filling put 3 ft hose as far as possible toward bottom of tank and turn on valve on the right is a 3/8th plastic elbow, when filling leave water 1/2 inch below intake to that elbow, turn on water at valve and fill. Turn off hose at valve the hold up as you withdraw the 3ft hose to drain out any water still in it.

Answer:
The Symphony Winter-XL has a water tank in the back of the unit, which needs to be filled manually with water. Provided is a link to the manufacturer's owners instructions, http://cache.air-n-water.com/manuals/symphony-winter-xl.pdf.

Answer:
Hi There. I use mine for my greenhouse, so I drilled a small hole in the back, put in a float valve and run a 1/4 water line to it. I also use Reverse Osmosis water, so there are no deposits.
- Ruben P. on 2014-04-03
Answer:
There is a fill spout that will hold a hose or can be filled with a water pitcher. I use my hose to fill the machine. It takes just a few minutes and lasts up to a couple of days.
