All instructions given were easy to understand so I had it running in no time. Didn't have any ice to add to the water I loaded the cooler with but didn't really need any as far as I could detect! Ambient temperture at the time was 95 degrees. I sat in my lounge chair about two feet in front of the unit to test it. Ahhhh, a nice cool breeze was my reward. I bet adding ice would make it even cooler.

We use it in our bedroom on top of a window table. It keeps us cool and saves us from running up the power bills. With the dry conditions in Denver, it also adds needed humidity. So quiet, if it was'nt for the air you wouldn't hear it.

I purchased this product because of price point and function. When I first received the product, I felt that it was smaller than I thought it would be. I like its design; it's really simple and easy to operate. The product works better than I thought it would, and it cools nicely for my small apartment.
