Description
The Sunpentown SD-652 Mini Dehumidifier uses peltier technology which means that a compressor and refrigerant are not needed. This thermo-electric technology provides whisper quiet operation, making this dehumidifier ideal for a variety of different rooms. The compact design ensures that it can be used in nurseries, small bedrooms, closets, wardrobes, cupboards, and under sinks.
The Sunpentown SD-652 mini dehumidifier has an automatic cut-off function that shuts the machine down if the water tank is full or the tank is removed. 650 mL of moisture is removed from the environment every 24 hours at factory testing conditions of 86 degrees Fahrenheit and 80 percent relative humidity. The tank is transparent and can hold 2.2 liters of water.
Included on the SD-652 mini-dehumidifier are full water tank and power indicator lights. There is also an option for continuous drainage. The handle is recessed for easy transport. For your safety, this dehumidifier is UL listed.

This mini dehumidifier is great in my small bedroom. During the rainy season in the Redwood Forest the ground stays damp until the summer. I am happy to be using this Sunpentown during the days. I do turn it off at night. It is quiet but I am a light sleeper.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this dehumidifier to deal with moisture inside my RV, where I'm spending the winter. Winters here are cool and very wet, so condensation on windows is a big problem.
The unit is keeping my indoor humidity in the 50-60% range, which is excellent, given that the outside humidity ranges from 80-100%.
I'm very pleased with this dehumidifier and Air-N-Water's service.
However, be aware that if you order from Canada, you'll be hit with a UPS "cross border fee" which adds roughly 50% to the cost, and is totally outrageous. This is not Air-N-Water's fault since they don't ship it themselves (they use FEDEX), but have it sent directly from a distributor who uses UPS.

I ordered 2 SD-652 dehumidifiers for a small bedroom in the hopes that they could keep the humidity in the comfort range of 45 to 50% without the noise and heat of regular dehumidifiers. They couldn't. One did not remove any water and the other couldn't dent the humidity after running for a week. I'd say these products aren't worth the money, especially when there is a perfectly acceptable dehumidifier (NewAir AD-400) that does the job with almost no noise, little heat, and, when hooked up to a drain, no maintenance.

The SD-652 is working great. It has made a big difference in my basement. It is perfect for about 400 sq ft. I like the continuous drain option as I am not home that much.

My husband and I have a 32 foot travel trailer that we use monthly for weekend getaways with our three dogs. Recreational vehicles are known for harboring moisture, which is especially evident in the mornings when it appears as heavy condensation on all the interior window surfaces. In February, we purchased two of these units (one for the kitchen & living area and one for the bathroom & bedroom area) and have had them running non-stop ever since(except , of course, when on the road)and they have worked beautifully! The reservoir is generously proportioned and the option to use the drainage hose is a very nice feature. When camping in March for a three night weekend, the heavy condensation that usually covered the entire interior window surfaces every morning was significantly reduced to small patches of window fog on the large windows and there was virtually no condensation on the smaller windows. Since we have only had the units for a short time, I am unable to comment on their longevity but given the results we have had so far, I would definitely recommend this product to others.

My Sunpentown SD-652 Mini Dehumidifier is the best appliance that any RV or Trailer owner could own! It depletes excess moisture rapidly during rainy days and gets rid of the moldy smell. Hopefully, Rv dealerships will start carrying the product instead of the EZ- black moisture removers. The product will pay for itself this first season. I am showing other RV owners what I have purchased and they are very interested and hopefully will get the rewards for a drier environment in the vehicles.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This product is small and quiet but did very little in the way of a dehumidifier. It only had to be emptied maybe once a month meaning it didn't take much moisture out of the air. I would suggest a larger one for some real results.
