Six Proven Air-Cleaning Technologies
The S3000 first filtrates its air with a pre-filter to capture the larger particles. Then it filtrates through a true HEPA filter, a carbon filter, a TiO2 filter, a germ-killing UV lamp, and lastly an ionizer.
HEPA Filter
HEPA filters were developed to shut out harmful particles from the air, particularly radioactive particles that can otherwise cause illnesses. They trap 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns or larger, including dust, pollen, pet dander, bacteria, mold spores, and many more.
Germ-Killing UV Lamp
UV technology is commonly used in hospitals today to purify the air for their patients. It kills all kinds of micro-organisms that could otherwise cause further damage to their fragile bodies.
