The Robertshaw RS-8600 Digital Programmable Thermostat is compatible with standard 24 Vac heating and cooling systems. This thermostat is meant to be used with single stage gas, electric, oil and heat pump applications.The display screen on the Robertshaw RS-8600 digital programmable thermostat is backlit and 80 percent larger than other competitive models. This makes viewing and setting the temperature easy and accurate. The screen display has a touch screen appearance without the high price of a touch screen. It has a flush, smooth and easy to clean face. It also comes with a Custom Clear faceplate that can be painted or wall papered to custom match any decor.
Save money and energy with the RS-8600 because it is Energy Star rated. It also comes preset with an energy saving program. The program is easy to change with the touch of a button. This thermostat is 5-2 day programmable. This means you can set the weekly program once with 4 time and temperature settings and those 4 setpoints are followed for 5 consecutive days. On the weekend, four different setpoints from the weekday program can be set for all day comfort.
