The super-quiet NX3 offers up to 1,386 BTUs of heat and has an enclosed heating element with a permanently-sealed oil reservoir that emits no fumes or odors. The special diathermic oil sealed within the reservoir actually helps distribute heat evenly to ensure maximum comfort. Moreover, because the NX3 only uses 400 watts of power, it's a safer, greener alternative to other high wattage space heaters.

Provides enough heat to take the chill out of the air and fits perfectly under my desk. This unit will only provide enough heat for a small area. This unit keeps my feet warm while working at my desk. The unit is very slim and quiet.

I ordered the Dayton NX3 Electric Oil Filled Space Heater because my office space is trying to imitate the Arctic Tundra. It's 100 degrees outside and 60 degrees inside. I felt silly wearing a big sweatshirt, but I can now wear cute summer clothes to work and be warm inside and cool outside. The order took about two days to get to my desk. Thanks!

We'll to be honest we were not sure these for put out enough heat for the people and it turns out there perfect for the under the desk which is what we were looking for to replace outdated and costly electric heaters.
We've bought two and I'm going to order more because they work so well for our staff. There easy to use simply plug in and set it to where your comfortable heat setting is located.
I've found every staff person has a different setting and so these are simple to use and love the shut off if they get tipped over. Safety adds to the smart value of these heaters.

I use it with an inline thermostat to heat a bathroom so the pipes don't freeze in a seasonal home. I use a second one to keep a bedroom just above freezing in another part of the house. Gentle heat so no chance of anything catching fire.

We needed just a little extra constant warmth in our small sitting room, and after reading about it decided that this might meet our requirements. The small heater is doing well. The so-called legs were a disappointment -- not very sturdy and the heater sits a little lopsided and wobbly on them. The heating part itself does a good job and serves the exact purpose we were hoping it would. We were pleased with it except for the legs.

My primary reason for choosing this product was because of its low wattage. Upon receipt, my initial impression was WOW! That thing is small. It works great and gives out good heat. I would recommend this product to others because it does the job and is well worth the price.

My wife and I were looking for a small electric space heater for use in our chicken coop; which would help maintain a low level of heat, yet provide no usual source of ignition for fire. This one was exactly what we were looking for. Being a Dayton brand, it is performing exactly as expected - perfectly. Furthermore, I expect to get many years of good performance from it.
