This wand can be used on toilets, showers, phones, computers, sinks, countertops, bedding and shoes.The Germ Guardian LW9 UV-C mini sanitizer wand is small and compact so you can take it with you when you travel. UV-C light technology is natural so no harmful chemicals are used to kill germs. The sanitizing cycle is completed within one minute of exposure so almost instant sanitation occurs.
The LW9 mini sanitizer wand is rated at 6,000 to 8,000 hours of use which means if it is used an average of 2 hours per week, the wand bulb will last about 76 years. A special glass filter that shields and protects users from direct contact with UV rays is included as well as an automatic shut off feature that turns the bulb off after a prescribed time period has passed. The bulb also automatically turns off if the wand has been turned over with the bulb facing up and will only resume working when turned with the bulb faced down.
