The Ice Maker is great. I check it every two hours to empty the bin and put in the freezer to stock pile ice for my crew's ice chests for the next day. I am evn thinking of getting one for home. The first one leaked. It was returned. Customer Service was very accomodating and issued a call tag for pick up. Within a few days a new one was delivered. It works fine. Since it only make 12 lbs a day, we put the ice in bags and put in the freezer and make some more. We use the ice for the crew's coolers. August 26, 2010
It does not work as I expected and takes longer to make ice than I expected. This is my first experience with an ice maker so part of the issue may be me. It is big and bulky and the draining and cleaning is cumbersome in the only place I have to put it. It does save us the problem of running to the store for ice though and I did not want a refrigerator with an ice maker and that was the reason for purchasing the ice maker. August 25, 2010
